My son showed me a post on Reddit where someone has got really bad air quality, 999 on the app and display screen and it doesn’t change.

Thought I would look on here for an answer but can’t see one. Anyone know what it could be?

David.

Hi @D.Taylor @Charliebrown

You’ve solved this :)

If there is nothing in the environment that could be causing this, it is usually due to a blockage in the machines sensor port(s). We suggest cleaning the sensors as per Cleaning the sensor article.

Further instructions on cleaning the machine can of course be found in the user guide and directly in the App under 'Using your machine' and 'Cleaning your machine'.

If you’re passing this information onto someone, ask that they ensure their machine is switched off during this cleaning process.

Hello @D.Taylor

Interesting one. I found two useful articles in the Knowledge Base that might help here:

  1. Viewing your machine's air quality graphs
  2. Cleaning the sensor

Looking through the online app reviews it seems that this is caused when the sensors need cleaning. I would urge them to start there.

Hope this helps :)
