Dyson TP02 reading out the box - 0 deg F and 0% humidity

My Dyson TP02 reading 0 deg F and 0% humidity out of box. I'm suspicious that none of the sensors are working since they are all reading flat lines. Is there a way to reset the device? (Moderation Edit - Tags Added/Updated Title/Category Updated)

US - UL 1278 heating solution - Suggestion

Now I know a lot of us people in the USA can’t control heating via app because of safety concerns, but what if Dyson created a bluetooth system so that if it detects that you’re at least in range of the device. That way we can atleast turn on the heater while we’re in the house. Won’t be a solution for those who want to warm up the room in advance though, just for convenience in house.

High Pitch Sounds Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde TP09

This is my second purifier TP09, as I returned and replaced the original due to the intermittent high pitch squealing sound that it produces and now the 2nd model is doing the same thing.  I've researched the community as well as a few other online communities and it concerns me that many people have this same issue and it has not really been addressed as to why and what is the cause.  I do not want to visit a repair center as I've stated that is my 2nd machine and therefore it's not an isolated issue.It seems to me that there is a flaw in the design that is not being addressed.  It doesn't make sense why it works perfectly fine until it doesn't.  If I change the setting from Auto to a number less than 7 I can hear the high pitch sound loudly, 7 - 10 and it can not be heard that much due to the wind speed overpowering however that is not an appropriate sound level to hear all day and after running at that speed for long enough the high pitch starts up again.Many people are attempting t

Purifier - Wifi connectivity help!

Had my Dyson fan hot and cool for coming up to two years. very recently its just dropping off the app which won’t connect. The Wi-Fi symbol is flashing so have to reach for the plug. Turn off and turn back on. it is right next to the router. In the living room. no other device is having connectivity issues. So unsure if a firmware update has happened recently?

Resolving issues with my Dyson TP04 air cleaner

Hey everyone,I wanted to share my experience with my Dyson TP04 EU/CH Wh/Sv 310130-01 air cleaner, which I bought at Jul 2020. Unfortunately, the device stopped turning on about six months ago, even though I barely used it. I took it to an authorized service center, and they said they could replace it with a different model without wireless features for 4000 TL.I have a few issues with this whole situation that I want to bring up. First of all, my original device had wireless features, which I thought were pretty essential. Secondly, the authorized service center couldn't give me a specific diagnosis of what was wrong with the device, so I don't even know what I'm paying for.I also have asthma, so I really rely on my Dyson vacuum cleaner and air cleaner to keep my air clean and healthy. It's frustrating that my air cleaner broke down for seemingly no reason and that I couldn't get any help.Has anyone else had this experience? What did you do to resolve it? I'd love to hear your thought

Dyson Purifier Humidify & Cool Formaldehyde

Dyson Purifier Humidify & Cool Formaldehyde and the humidifier stopped working after a month of use. The water tank is full, it’s water level does not change even after running continuously for 24/7 on the 70% humidity setting. The humidity doesn’t exceed 53% while on the 70% humidity setting. The room size is tiny “10’2” X 13’. ”I ran a deep cleaning cycle with no change in the humidifiers status after the cleaning cycle. I purchased this Dyson Purifier Humidify & Cool Formaldehyde product primarily for the humidifier function. All I have now is a very expensive paper weight fan. PH02 Alerts flash by too quickly - What to do?

My PH02 is intermittently flashing the triangle with exclamation point alert. If I have the app open I get a pop up but it goes away before I can read it.   Is there a way to go review old alerts? Or to make them latch until I acknowledge them? I would really like to know what’s happening with this one so I can fix it.

Dyson HP04 - Air Quality Sensor Fault/No Humidity Reading

Good afternoon, This is a bit of a long one but I’m open to any suggestions at this point! Essentially, I bought this machine from Dyson in August 2022 and upon unboxing and using the machine I became aware that certain functionality wasn’t working - primarily the ‘auto’ functionality available through the app or controller.I raised this with Dyson within the first 14 days or so of receipt, they said they would swap it and arranged a delivery date. On the ‘delivery date’ for the swap, nothing happened. I therefore boxed the machine up and it has been sitting in my house (boxed) waiting for a replacement since August 2022. I contacted the team multiple times during that period, via Whatsapp, live chat, phone, trustpilot and even down the route of a ‘complaint’ - long story short, it never got fixed as they had no like-for-like machine in stock to ‘swap’ mine with and basically said there was nothing they could do.This month I gave up waiting for it to be swapped, so I asked for a repair

Dyson AirPurifier always yellow - Any ideas?

Hi there!  I have recently purchased a Dyson AirPurifier formaldehyde. When I first got it, the display was never anything more than the green rating, apart from when I cook. Now for the last few days, I haven’t really seen it in the green rating, it’s now in the yellow… When I now have it on auto, the fan is going at a fast speed. I have just received my Dyson Purifier Fan and the temperature is reading -2, this is definitely incorrect as the room is around 20 during the day.is there anything I can do other than having to package the whole thing up and arrange it to be returned?

Purifier - NO2 sensor and humidity

HelloReally happy with our purifier but have found that on auto when opening the nearby outside door the NO2 will always spike to very high for a short period before settling down to normal. This happens consistently and I have read elsewhere that this could be due to the sensor being confused by the significant difference in humidity when the outside air comes in, before stabilising.I do not think there are big sources of NO2 in our garden and it always settles down after some time. Does anyone else have this? If my theory is correct could Dyson correct the software to smooth this kind of spike out as it is annoying when it suddenly goes on full blast! any thoughts welcome :-)

Purifier - DP04 - Can't reset filters using the MyDyson App

DP04 arrived on Monday - filters installed but the Dyson app shows 0% and ‘Filter Management’ is greyed out. New filters are on the way from Dyson but I don’t see how that will fix the issue. I have tried to reset on the remote but it does not update the app.  (Moderation Edit - Tags Updated)

Dyson cool+Heat+Formaldehyde Model - Cooling and heating Amp feedback

Cooling Mode: Perhaps Dyson should not call it a “Cool and Heat” model as it is not an air conditioner and it also does not have a Peltier unit for cooling. Perhaps “Heat and Fan” might be a better description. It cools due to the wind chill on your skin from a fan action. Heating Mode: I used an Arlec WiFi relay with energy management function and connected it to a 10A socket and the Dyson was then plugged in to check its consumption. I slowly increased the fan speed using the heating mode and saw the Amps creeping up well beyond the 10A for which the unit is rated until the Arlec let go a blinding flash and now lost the Amp and Watt measuring capability. The Arlec was rated to 10A and blew, so there is a definite engineering problem with the Heat mode.   (Edited by moderator - Tags Added/Title Updated)

Purifier - Customise Night mode in the App

Hi, i see online (here) that it is possible to customise night mode for one of the fans, does anyone know if this is possible for the hot and cool purifier? And if so, how please? Purifier - PM2.5/PM10 Elevated but only at night

Since getting our Dyson TP07 I’ve become fascinated observing the formerly invisible world of air pollutants inside our home. Some observations are easily explained (such as increased levels after frying food) but I’m at a loss as to explain why our PM2.5 and PM10 levels increase every evening before going back to normal in the morning. We run the unit in automatic and it will kick all the way up to 10 for the whole night before going back to 2 or 3 in the morning.The unit is in our living room. We are in a single family home. It is currently winter so the windows are closed all the time. The only thing that happens at night compared to the day is our thermostat automatically decreases the temperature at night. 18C (64F) at night vs 22C (72F) during the day. The furnace fan is set to run continuously (runs even when the furnace is off). The only change at night is the air temperature.Is it possible that the change in air temperature could affect the accuracy of the pollution sensors? I

Purifier - Is No2 level 4 dangerous?

Hi, I purchased Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde™ TP09 purifying fan 3 years ago.I have indoor No2 level 4 -8 everyday because my next door neighbor burns inscents in and out all day long. When they burn stuff, my dyson machine detects and the dyson app screen turns orange.  And it makes me wonder if its poisonous to be in my home.. I suffer from asthma and hoping this machine will help me breathe better to get rid of No2 level. Is it bad to have level 4 NO2 value everyday? (Moderation Edit - Tags Added/Category Updated)
