Dyson Purifiers, Humidifiers, Fans and Heaters
Hi,Had a recent air inspection and the living room is coming back with higher levels (twice that of the bedrooms) of asbergillus penecillium which is a common mold spore. just bought the Dyson hp07 and system is indicating air quality is good. Does this system help get rid off these mold spores? Right out of the box it says air quality is good.
I have a new Formaldehyde hot and cool purifier. The auto button shows a warning triangle as do the display settings on the machine. I contacted ‘support’ via whatsapp’ on Wednesday and the replies come at random times and no one has been helpful. I have read the manual, switched on and off, taken filters off and on. I have watched the videoI am really fed up now.I would really like a refund as this is so stressful for meThank you
Hi I have Dyson Pure Cool™ tower purifier fan from 2018. My glass hepa and inner carbon filters has been used up for a while now but I'm not able to order replacement since inner carbon filter seems to be out of stock all the time and only glass hepa filter in stock. I see https://www.dyson.co.uk/support/journey/tools/965432-01 is in stock but I'm not sure if my device would be compatiable with this as it is not listed on the page however they look very similar. Would you be able to confirm if I can order and use this one please?
I plugged in the purifier at my new flat, worked fine for hours, then I turned on its heating function and after a while there was a puff of spark/flame and it shut down. I circled the rough area it came from, I’m guessing it’ll be a fuse or something that I need to replace.Anyone know which part I should look at?The wall plug itself is probably dodgy I would guess so I’ll plug it in somewhere else once it’s fixed Cheers,Will
I have 4 purifiers hot cold all registered in my app . I went to purchase another hot cold purifier today to find only the formaldehyde one is app compatible. Is Dyson doing away with the app ? Why do new fans not have the ability to be on the app ?I love the app to schedule “my house” all my fans.thanks
Hi All - I purchased a PH04 humidifier/purifier at the beginning of this year, and it has been a huge headache for me. I normally wouldn’t complain but with the amount of money I spent I think I deserve a better result. I am currently on my 4th unit - each one has after 3 developed a relatively loud high pitch buzzing noise, that I think can most accurately be described as comparable to the sound a cicada (more like 1,000 cicadas) makes. I use the purifier as a fan/humidifier overnight night in my bedroom, and the sound occasionally becomes loud enough to wake me up. It is most definitely not normal operation, because the fan makes an acceptable amount of noise for several weeks up to a few months before it starts happening. 2 of the units replaced outright right away, and the third one I sent to the repair center where it was found to be unrepairable and replaced again. While I do appreciate the replacement machines, it seems to me that the problem is widespread if 4 in a row have had
Hi guys. I am a new user, I bought an HP00 air purifier and when I try to add it within the Dyson app (when entering the serial number) it tells me that it is wrong and I cannot add it, when chatting with support. Ivo tells me that there is a problem with this equipment but they do not give me a solution.Does anyone know how I can solve this? Thank you.
We have a Dyson Purifier hot + cool formaldehyde a couple weeks old, we used it as a fan mainly for a few days of light use.today we tried it on hot mode, however it started to divert air to the back, when we tried to change this from the remote we hear the motor trying to change it back which made a bit of a rumble and nothing happened! The strange thing its giving cold air at full speed coming out the back but the front gets hot but no air… and if we have it on cold cold air only comes from the back and we cant change it.things I triedNew batteriesresetting the Dysonturning it off and on again Trying it on different anglesMaking sure the firmware was up to dateBut nothing fixes it, its just been in the same place for a few weeks, we don't have kids or pets, for a £700 heater it hardly lasted a month! im really up set about this as I bought this one as thought its a good one and will last at least several years.has anyone had this happen to them before or know how to fix it?Although i
Does the Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde recognise and remove PFAS? (The airborne compounds are thought to break off of PFAS-treated products such as carpeting and clothing and attach to dust or freely float through the indoor environment.PFAS are dubbed “forever chemicals” because they do not naturally break down. They accumulate in animals, including humans, and are linked to cancer, birth defects, liver disease, thyroid disease, decreased immunity, hormone disruption and a range of other serious health problems.)
Hello community,My first time posting here, so go easy on me :)I have a Dyson Pure Hot + Cold (I think this is HP04) and live in London. Its filter is at the end of its life, so the app is encouraging me to buy a replacement. In the past this has not been a problem, and I have replaced the filter a few times over the past few years. However, Dyson’s site is showing theLe replacement filters as sold out, and there is no indication of when they will be back in stock. Two questions:Any idea when they may be back in stock? Any suggestions on other suppliers in the UK. Amazon has a lot of alternatives which are comparable with this machine, but I would rather stick with an official one. thanks in advance!
I have a Dyson TP04. I have recently noticed that the PM level shown in the display increases when the fan speed is increased. For example, when the fan speed is at 1, the PM 2.5 displayed is around 25. But when I increase the fan speed to 10, the PM 2.5 is around 60-65. Using an external air quality monitor, I find the PM level to be around 40-45. What could be the reason? Any suggestions on how I can sort this out.
I am happy with my Dyson HEPA Purifier TP09 Formaldehyde Purifying Fan however, when testing it using Dettol Antibacterial Cleaning Spray, it doesn’t seem to detect anything.Surely it should detect antibacterial spray as it has nasties in it and I thought would affect the air quality? The purifier detects other sprays such as dry shampoo spray, just surprised it didn’t detect the antibacterial cleaning spray.Would be grateful for any advice.Thank you,Andy
Does anyone know a great alternative to the PH04 as the Dyson Purify Humidify is not available in Australia and its gonna be a really Dry summer this Year.I'm looking to get a Humidifyer but dyson doesn't sell their one here. (Moderation Edit - Tags Added/Title Updated)
I see others may have had this same issue, but I just couldn’t find the response I was looking for. The closest to an answer I’ve read is that it is faulty and to to contact Dyson. Perhaps that’s the answer, let me know. Here’s the issue. For a while, setting the fan unit to heat and setting the required temp (for example, 17) the unit would show the set temp with a red dot next to it to indicate it is in heating mode and blew hot air until the desired temp is reached. It would then go into a light cool air (purifying?) and the red dot disappeared. She. The temp had dropped too low, the unit would automatically pick back up, red dot appears and the heater would start to blow hot air again. No longer. Now, the heater will REMAIN in hot blow with the red dot illuminated and just not stop even when the desired temp is surpassed. External room thermometer is showing 26° but the unit is only set to 17. And it’s still pumping out hot air. We use it in the kids room when we are away and I’m
I have recently purchased the Dyson HEPA Purifier TP09 Formaldehyde Purifying Fan.Unfortuantley I have a room that has quite a bit of mold. The purfier that is in the room says that the air in the room is good.Should the purfier be detecting that the room has mold?Or does it only detect the mold when you disturb it (clean it). Be grateful for any advice. Thanks
Hi, I'm Liz and took delivery of our 1st air purifying fan yesterday. I've downloaded the app and added the machine but no data screen is showing amd I can't see anyway of finding how to access it.Any help on how to access the data on the app would be greatly appreciated. Screenshot of what I see...
We own ph01 machine that we purchased in 2021 and we moved to a new apartment where the neighbor under us smokes quite a lot during 6:30-7:30 in the morning and 21-22 in the evenings on her balcony under us. We have cats so they like spending their time outside on balcony, otherwise we would just keep it closed. The problem is that dyson does not even register or reacts to cigar smoke/smell. This morning we could smell it in the whole apartment and that’s what woke us up as it was quite bad while dyson, which is sitting next to balcony doors did not change the speed of fan or anything while in auto mode. NO2 levels remained the same during the whole “incident” where they should be shooting through the roof. We cleaned the filter/particle detector thing, removed dust from filters, cleaned the whole machine but PH01 just stays in idle mode. We are really running out of ideas
Hello Dyson community! I’m wondering if anyone has experience using a Dyson air purifier to deal with smoke drifting from downstairs to upstairs in the house. My husband smokes in the living room, and the smoke tends to travel upstairs into the bedrooms. Can the Dyson air purifier effectively help reduce or eliminate this issue? I’d appreciate any insights or recommendations. Thanks! (Moderation Edit - Tags Added/Title Updated)
