These were advertised as attachments for a Cyclone V10 Animal, but they are not locking into my machine because it appears the red connector button is missing. Is this something that can be fixed or are these parts not compatible with my vacuum? Is the problem that they actually for a different vacuum or that they not genuine parts?

The accessories in your pictures appear to be genuine, but they’re for an older Dyson cordless vacuum - most likely a Dyson DC59, DC62 or Dyson V6™ vacuum.
The motorised tools (the Soft roller cleaner head and the Mini motorised head) won’t be compatible with your Dyson Cyclone V10™ vacuum. But you should find the Quick release adaptor tool will enable you to use the Up top tool and the Soft dusting brush with your machine. You can find this here.
