If you are referring to the colours on the left hand side of the screen, this is the indicator of the quality of the air with the line graph moving up and down to respect your air’s present quality.

yes that’s what I’m referring to but my question I guess is why is it not changing?

I would expect after 12 hours plus the purifyer would be cleaning up the air but the colours never change.

it never goes into standby mode either.

The colours on the side won’t change (unless your air quality gets dramatically worse) but the line will go up and down. 
 

If you do something in the room (like spraying air freshener etc) the machine should sense this and the line going from left to right should change and reflect this. 
 

Sometimes my machine can take a while to purify the air in the room. If there is a source of something the machine is sensing (e.g. dirty air leaking from outside, VOCs being emitted etc as it can remove stuff from the air, but not from the source), it may not go into standby mode. Mine often keeps going cause it senses a lot of VOCs. It also won’t shut completely off if it is in breeze mode. Just make sure to pop it on auto mode and set the air angle to 0, 25 or 50

Tbh, I leave mine in auto like 90% of the time. 
 

I just let it sit there and do its thang. The auto mode is pretty clever and senses when I do my hair or cook (the two activities that really set mine off).

Cooking would certainly affect mine as my home is open plan. I also need to reposition it as it is close to furniture.‍
