I have the above old Dyson which needs a new motor. All parts are in great condition but the motor has recently burnt out. I already have purchased a new stick Dyson but I prefer this one, therefore I desperately would like to find a new motor to have it replaced. Does anyone knows where I can purchase this part? Thank you.

Due to the age of DC38, we’re no longer able to offer servicing or spare parts for this machine - so I don’t have a direct link I can provide to order a replacement motor.
You may find suitable compatible motors available from other retailers online, though.
