Hi,
I recently purchased the Dyson Hot+Cool Purifier, hoping it would help with temperature control during hot summers and cold winters. However, I’m not sure if it’s designed for that purpose.
When I set the temperature to the maximum, I don’t feel the room heating up much—it still feels like there’s a cool breeze coming from the back. Additionally, I’ve noticed that the temperature of the room on the device’s indicator never goes above 22°C, no matter how high I set it.
Is this normal behavior for this device? Did I misunderstand its functionality, or did I buy the wrong product for my needs? Should I consider returning it and investing in something that's portable and better suited for both heating and cooling?
Thank you
