Dyson Hot & Cool Purifier: Noticable dust reduction?

Hello

I have an incredibly dusty bedroom. It drives me crazy. I follow all the advice, stick to a cleaning schedule etc but it’s still dusty all the time. 
I’m considering buying the Hot & Cool Purifier Autoreact.

Please would Dyson Purifier owners tell me whether dust levels are noticeably reduced when using it? The description says it captures 99.5% of particles in the air, but presumably that’s just the air in the immediate vicinity of the machine and therefore it won’t remove particles from right across the room away from the machine? Any feedback about dust levels would be much appreciated.

Noticeable reduction, yes. It won’t remove it from the surfaces, you’ll still need to dust for that! But if it’s in the air, it will take it out. There’s quite a large projection field and intake. There a video showing just how it works.

The filter change sign is not half of it yet, but it smells weird when I turn it on.
