loud noise on v8 new dyson model

when attach the main head no matter what setting on carpet or hard floor it makes a loud rumbling sound ,now dyson have change this head already but I only got this hoover just before Christmas should it be doing ,also thinking of going into electrical shop and testing there's out as I've been wanting a dyson for years and so far not impress

Big and Quiet BPO4 Out of Stock

I am looking to buy a Dyson big + quiet BPO4 but cannot seem to find it anywhere. It is out of stock on the Dyson website and I can’t find it anywhere else online. Many places have the BPO3 but I would really like the extra added features with the BPO4. does anyone know where I can find it or when it will be back in stock on Dyson’s website? Thanks.

Moving to Europe - need 220V Air Wrap Wand Only

I am moving to Europe this summer from the United States.  I need a 220V Wand (ONLY) for use in Europe.  I do not want to purchase an entirely new product.  Does anyone have one they want to sell?  I will still return to the US, so I do not want to trade. Invoice required

How can you obtain an invoice for a past order?  I do see the order history in the My Account section, but there does not appear to be a way to generate the invoice online from this order.  I need an invoice in order to clear Customs with the Dyson hardware.

V12 detect constantly blocked

My V12 slim is constantly telling me it’s blocked when it’s not, after about 3 minutes of use!I can’t hoover the house with it, it’s completely rubbish and not fit for purpose but after paying so much money for it I can’t really go and buy a different one. I’ve had Dyson before and love them but this one has me in a heap on the floor 😭.

Repair Service Fiasco!! Courier Collection.

Hello, has anyone had repair collection issues from Dyson.  I booked in my Dyson 2 weeks ago for a collection for repair and today was the FOURTH collection slot booked and still not collected! I’ve called Dyson numerous times and been on hold for hours over the last 2 weeks trying to resolve issue and still no resolution to this issue! I have always bought Dyson hoovers and I am fast losing faith in this company! Anyone else had issues and any advice very welcome? Perhaps I should just buy a new Shark hoover instead of wasting my time! 😖. Bring back the Dyson engineers who visited your home pre- Covid to fix Dyson hoovers!  (Moderation Edit - Tags Added, Title Amended)

Brand new Dyson Airwrap not working and both lights are flashing!

Hello, I received my new Dyson air wrap for Christmas, literally 2 days ago. I opened it the day of Christmas, the next morning I turned it on and tried curling a few hair pieces (my hair was dry and free of product). Then today, 3 days later I have an event to go to so I decided to use my Dyson to style my hair. So after I washed my hair I go to turn on my brand new Dyson and it takes a min to turn on then it blows air for 2 secs and cuts out. Then the red light starts flashing, or the white light starts flashing. I’ve been seeing both lights flashing. I took out the filter cap and cleaned it, also cleaned the filter with the brush. But it’s brand new and unused so the filter is already squeaky clean. I’ve also tried it at different outlets across the house and same thing. Does anyone know what’s going on ?

cordless vacuum

Cleaned my vacuum and the wheels are moving freely but the steering is off as it keeps going to the right. It is not going left to right freely, any suggestions, thanks Brian

My daughter has a DC40 cleaner which has problems where the power switches off after a short time and takes a long while to work again. It has been cleaned.

V10 power level switch

Hi all, I could do with some help.I have just repaired a broken trigger switch on my V10, I carefully took the cleaner apart, repaired the switch then carefully put it back together again. But after I had re-assembled it, the machine/trigger repair worked great but for the power setting. no matter where the switch was MAX, MID or LOW, it was functioning on MAX all the time and I am unsure why?I took it apart again, to look if the switch was not locating inside or something, but it looks like a sensor rather than a physical switch!?Can anyone help and tell me why the power is stuck on MAX?...and more importantly, how I fix it?...is it some sort of reset? Your help would be gratefully received.

returning Dyson air wrap problems

I have submitted a return request for two separate orders of Dyson air wraps. I received a text message and an email saying Dyson would contact me in 48 hours. It has been at least a week, possibly a week and a half and I’ve not heard a thing. Why is this so hard? I will never order from Dyson again if this is not resolved soon. This should not be that hard!

Dyson Airwrap styler

So so disappointed and upset over the response from Dyson. My air wrap wand started shutting off so I did all the trouble shooting (cleaning the filter, cage and everything). Spoke to a customer care rep threee weeks ago and she made me troubleshoot for 40 mins which I patiently did. I was told someone will call me back in 24-48 hours to let me know how would I send my machine to the repai center (the closest to me is 1.5 hours away).Anyways waited for two and a half weeks, no call and then I called back… after speaking to two reps and telling them I was ready to pay for the repair, I was told that for the air wrap you can only do a walk in at a repair store!!!it’s ridiculous that once your warranty is over, you can’t do anything but air on a 500.00$ machine which has been gently used for my 10 year old daughter twice a week. I never thought once to buy this thinking it was Dyson… it’s just ridiculous how they give up on once you have bought the machine and out of warranty.

Dyson v12 cuts out after charging

I’ve been given a replacement Dyson v12 body because my power carried on cutting out, and i have also been sent replacement batteries, but it has started doing it again, all I get told now is that they will send me a new Dyson body but these are out of stock, so how am i meant to clean my house, not all of us can afford two vacuums

US Dyson Airwrap

Hi, I ordered a Dyson Airwrap to be sent to a friend of a friend in the States and my friend brought it back to me in Jordan. I didn’t realise it wouldn’t work here. Weirdly it will work in other countries in the Middle East. An engineer said it’s not to do with voltage so using a transformer won’t make a difference, something to do so the the earth wire. I messaged back and forth with Dyson about returning it and having a refund so I can buy one in the Middle East where it will work in Jordan but they won’t accept a return or give a refund. So now I have this expensive gift for my daughter which doesn’t work. Is there anyway I can fix this issue? Thanks in advance.

My dyson 360 heurist won't move from the charging dock..

Yesterday, I finally purchased the Dyson 360 Heurist. Last night, I charged the vacuum, and this morning, I connected the machine to the app and tried to operate it. However, when I press the start button in the app, the machine moves only a few centimeters away from the charging dock and then stops working. The battery compartment shows that all three bars are charged in blue. Has anyone had the same issue and solved the problem?

Ball Multi Floor 2 Replacement Post Filter

The replacement post filter for Ball Multi Floor 2 vacuum shows out of stock. The part number is 922676-02. Part number 922676-01 appears to be the same thing and shows being available. Is there a difference or can I use “-01” in place of “-02”?

5th machine same humidifer issues

My machine is now out of warranty and I have the same issue I had with my previous 4 machines the humidifier function stops working. No water comes out on the second level and it has no humidifier function at all. How can Dyson keep replacing the machine knowing this is a pervasive issue with the purifier/ humidifiers. Total waste of money they should continue to replace even outside of the warranty window if they can’t develop a product that does what it’s supposed to do for the price they charge my machines have never lasted more then 8 months. Spend $25 on a target/walmart humidifier it will last longer and be more reliable. Dyson’s quality of products and functionality is not fit for the technology they claim to have.

Dyson Supersonic bought as a gift in Japan does not work with Canadian voltage (despite being told by salesperson that it would). What can I do?

Title says it all. Was in Japan and wanted to buy a Supersonic Hairdryer for my wife as a gift. I asked the sales people (multiple) if the dryer would work with Canadian voltage, and both of them categorically said ‘Yes’ (they even pulled up a chart). We got home and found out it does not in fact work. Called Dyson Canada and they told me there’s nothing they can do, and to call Dyson Japan. The phone number provided on the website for Dyson Japan is not in service, and the email provided is not monitored.  In summary, I explicitly asked if the hairdryer would work as a precondition to my decision to purchase. Was told ‘Yes’ by multiple Dyson representatives.  It turned out to be a lie, and Dyson is washing their hands of it.  So my wife is left with a $500 paperweight as a Christmas gift.  If this is how Dyson stands by their products and treats their paying customers, I imagine they’ll understand when I never buy anything from them ever again.

overheating battery pack

The battery when in max mode for 5 mins or so gets so hot that you have to remove and place on a tile type surface, unit bought approx 2 years ago seems to be getting worse

Horrendous Return Experience - Refund Still Pending

As an owner of multiple Dyson products in different categories and customer for many years I am very disappointed in the lack of attention and concern Dyson pays to its customers in the returns and refunds process. How can I consider purchasing additional product and support a company that treats it’s customers this way?I ordered a Dyson hair care product for a family member as a holiday gift and it so happens they already owned the item - great for Dyson - not so great for me as it turns out... When I submitted my return request on 12/25, I got no response. I had to contact customer care directly by phone, and sit on hold for over an hour. The associate had no idea how to process my return and was not able to locate my product information despite the fact that the item was purchased through my personal Dyson account on the Dyson site. Anyone else not getting any Customer Service after products not sent?

What’s the adage? It’s better to look after existing customers than try to gain new ones?As one of those existing customers, I'm struggling massively over what is a complete breach of Consumer Rights Act.I ordered a special edition Airwrap with special edition accessories. The accessories didn’t arrive.First Customer Service chat resulted in the Agent telling me the items were out of stock and notifications were now set for me to get in touch again when they were back in stock to place an order. Which doesn’t make any sense - if I hadn’t contacted Dyson, no notifications would have been set and I’d still be accessory-less. The onus was placed firmly on me. Needless to say I’ve had no ‘back in stock’ notifications for items that aren’t for sale separately on the Dyson website as by description, they’re special edition.Unhappy with the response, I started a new chat. Continuing Nightmare That Is My Return Experience - Refund Still Pending!

My wife and I live in the US and have been consumers of several Dyson products for many, many years, up to and including a recent purchase of an Airwrap in late December 2023 for my wife’s 50th birthday.  Turns out that she had already received one as a gift from her family so on 12/22/23 I initiated a return of the Airwrap and a couple accessories.This is where the fun began. I had to process 3 returns instead of one for my single order number (1649422111) which, in hindsight if this was the worst part of the experience, I’d be just fine. It took a couple of calls to even get the return labels, one of which 2 different customer service representatives couldn’t even send me due to a “system issue” and I had to have the UPS store print for me which they love doing.Didn’t hear back from Dyson until 1/04/24 via an email that was titled “Your Delayed Dyson Refund” where it stated “we are currently experiencing an unexpected delay in the processing of your refund” and were allegedly working
