dyson cyclone v10 animal end cap stuck to brush

Hi all,We are using a Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal and keep having issues with the end cap heating up and getting stuck / melting to the brush. As a result, the brush won’t turn anymore.I have tried all kinds of things, e.g. throroughly cleaning the brush, mounting a new brush and end cap. But after just a few minutes, the end cap gets really hot and then seems to melt to the brush so the brush cannot turn anymore and get stuck.We have spent quite some money on spares so would appreciate some advice on what the problem could be and how to fix it. dyson airwrap diffuser

When is the dyson airwrap diffuser attatchment gonna be in stock?!Ive been waiting for like 4? 5? Months for it and i occasionally ask the customer service via text when its gonna be back. I was told 4 weeks like 2months ago and atill nothing. If they know its in demand why cant they just make more.Ive been putting off buying the airwrap just so i can purchase it together with the diffuser attatchment.

Battery replacement return

After troubleshooting my Dyson V7, it seems I need to replace my battery. I have heard from various people that sometimes this does not solve the problem. My question is, if I purchase a new battery and it doesn’t work, can I then return it and get my money back or something like credit for a new vacuum purchase?

common issue with stick model filters getting blocked

I’ve had a V12 detect for less than two years which, for the majority of time I’ve had it, gets blocked really quickly. It works well but within a few mins of using it an error msg comes up saying the filter needs to be cleaned. I bought the machine in August 22 but have seen this issue from the start. If I wash it I leave it well over 24 hrs and the filter is always bone dry when it goes back on the machine. I’ve read loads of posts about this problem on this community. What should I do? Complain to Dyson?

Has anyone else received an obviously used vacuum?? Complete with dirt still inside of it?

I just received my “new” Dyson v15 detect vacuum. It arrived with the box half open, Dyson sticker tape almost completely off. Opening the box completely showed that the vacuum had clearly already been used and was just thrown back into the box and then just sent to me.After speaking to “customer service” chat yesterday I was informed that there are no more of those vacuums available and I’d get an email someday when they were available again. I’ve never seen such horrendous service before in my life! I’ve had over 6 Dyson vacuums throughout my life and never encountered anything like this before! Is this the new normal for this company? I’m in shock over this entire experience.

Dyson Airwrap Complete Long Australia to Philippines Compatibility

Hi. I just bought my Dyson Airwrap Complete Long in Australia. Just confirming that I can use it here in the Philippines since it’s within the voltage range of 110-240hz right? My dyson says it’s made in the Philippines though, but it’s from Australia 😊 Dual voltage rated applianceThis means that you will not need a converter or transformer but just a travel adaptor, because the Philippines operates on a 220V supply voltage, which is within the 110-240V range that the dual voltage appliance operates on.

Can I get my Dyson Supersonic hair dryer repaired out of guarantee?

Can a normal electrician fix the dyson hairdryer, stopped working not long after warranty ended and it seems to be the powered cord but I'm not paying £99 to dyson for a repair after paying £300 already.(Moderation edit - content and title updated)

dyson ball 3 brushhead

I have the Dyson Ball 3 corded upright vacuum and had it for less than a year before the brush head stopped working. I took it apart and cleaned it but that did not work. I bought a new brush head, same issue. Realizing that the vacuum was still under warranty, I contacted customer service.I have to say, Dyson has by far the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Not only did they take days to respond to emails, they were sending me the wrong info. I agreed to ship my Dyson to get it fixed and they never sent me the shipping label, like they said they would. When I contacted them to let them know that I never received the label, they did not respond. Absolutely horrible!! Does anyone have any solutions as to what is going on with the vacuum? Air Wrap Product Life Expectancy

Hello,I am not usually someone to sign up to forums to express dissatisfaction. In fact I'm most likely to send emails of praise to companies.However, I am extremely frustrated at the customer service received from Dyson. Whilst usually having a contact number for a company to speak to a human is great, on this occasion I am pleading for an email address to have my complaint logged.I have spoken to customer support 3 times now, each time to be advised of incorrect information.1st time I explained my issue, it felt I was listened to and the advisor seemed to care about my concern. However since speaking to 3 different people I now realise it’s quite scripted responses. The 1st advisor offered me money off a new purchase. And also advised he would escalate a complaint. Someone would be in touch within 24-48 hours.He also told me I should call back with my Air wrap for troubleshoot. Although I advised I had gone through the videos and the issue was with the filter and I couldn’t see how s

can dyson v10 clean cat litter

I have been using v10 for the past three years. Recently, the performance worsened and I kept getting “clean” signal in about every few days. I called customer service in Turkey. When I stated my problem, the customer rep told me that I should not use my dyson to clean cat litter as it may harm the machine. This is the first time I heard about it, there is no statement/ warning about it in the user’s manual. Also, you advertise dyson particularly for pet owners. It should not be limited to cleaning pet hair only. Cleaning cat litter is the main issue for cat owners. If I cant use my dyson to clean cat litter why would I buy one in the first place. Appreciate clarification on the issue please. I am not happy about the cleaning performance.

DC04 Crevice tool

My parents have the DC04 in Purple/Lime. The crevice tool has been lost. I gave them the tools from our old DC02 and they don't fit. All the replacement tools I have seen online seem to fit DC01, 02 and 04. Please could anyone advise which part I should order. Thank you

Has anyone else had nothing but problems with refurbished products?

I just bought a Dyson refurbished v11 and Pure Cool DP04. The air purifier showed up not working at all. Wouldn’t even turn on. I called and set up a return. They said the product was in stock and they would send me another as soon as they received it. I mailed it the same day. Haven’t gotten a response about that since. (The package was delivered last week back to the factory). Then, 4 days ago, my vacuum canister broke. The inner ring of it was chipped and apparently wasn’t replaced when it was “refurbished”. I called about that and they told me that they would replace it but the canister is sold out and they do not know when it will be back in.  They said I could mail the vacuum back and then when they receive it, they will mail me another one. Which can take up to 3 weeks, which is ridiculous. The fact that they cant send me a replacement before sending it makes no sense. This brings me back to the air purifier. Dyson canister vac with an attachment for nice rugs

I have a new rug.  It’s very nice.  Handwoven.  I think it’s wool.  We have a fairly new Dyson Big ball Canister vac.  I can’t find an attachment without a beater bar.  We have an attachment for hardwood floors and one for carpet.  I need to find one for nice rugs. I’ll bet the answer is that Dyson doesn’t have one.

New V11 won't charge fully at firsy use

Hi, I just bought a new Dyson V11 at Easter and has been charging for a couple of days, the battery went up to 75%, then went back down to 70% and just stuck there. This is my first Dyson and feel very disappointed for an expensive purchase. 😕 I will really appreciate your help. If anyone had the same experience, could you please let me know how did you resolve it? Many thanks!

Lack of suction

I have a year old  V15 Absolute. It was functioning fine until we had a new carpet laid in our lounge. It literally choked on the fluff created from a new carpet. So I dissembled it ,clearing the main tube in particular. The issue was blockage of the small exit venturi into the collection cylinder. Or so I thought! Clearly it was not capable of doing the job, so I brought out of retirement our heavy old DC04 which dealt with the situation until such time as most of the new carpet fluff was cleared. We bought the new V15 because being in our eighties we found the DC04 increasingly tiring to use.The V15 still can’t handle the new carpet and I find collected dust and grit lodges in the pick up head and doesn’t find its way into the collection cylinder. I have tried the home maintenance options given in the online guide but to no effect. I also keep getting asked to wash the top filter every time I use it which of course I do and ensure it is totally dry before reuse but this clean filter

Airwrap died but occasionally gives short bursts of life.

V15 power issue

Dyson V15 3 months old. Since yesterday, it cuts out after 10 seconds. Restarts immediately- generally it cuts out 3 times before running continuously on the fourth time. Screen is on for all goes but battery time only comes on when running continuously. Ant dea why this is happening?
