Worst customer service

UPS lost my package on December 1st, approved mt claim on December 8th. It has been over a month now and I still have not received my refund from Dyson. I’m never buying anything ever again from a company that is just trying to suck people out of their money. Had I known that Dyson’s customer service is so bad, I wouldn’t have even taken their product for free.

Please help

My v11 absolute extra the two plates that fit on lugs  on the cleaner head,high torque xl have broken off part nos 970426-01, this happened back in November,I have tried to get a new cleaner head but have found the chat and Dyson phone line to be no use what so ever,they make me promises to get back to me with an answer but each time they lie. The part as I have been told is no longer available this makes my £650 purchase I made two and a half years ago totally useless as my house has mainly carpets. Can any one help.

Raise a complaint

Good evening  I would like to put in a complaint to express my disappointment on the service that I received from Dyson.  I was given an incorrect email address ukresolution@dyson.com and I could not find an email for non-business customer support, so could you kindly forward this email to the relevant team please.   I placed two orders on 15/11/23 which I wish to return.  Unfortunately I am having real difficulty to return the items.   Order number: 1505142009 placed on 15/11/23 Order number: 1505141016 placed on 15/11/23 Return reference: 1505232072 and 1505220184 created 22/11/23, scheduled for collection on 27/11/23, again 7/12/23 and again to 14/12/23, still no show!  I called on 22/11/23, I was informed by your colleague that the items will be collected on 27/11/23 pm and I also did receive a confirmation from Dyson regarding the collection.  However, there was no collection on 27/11/23.  I rang again on 30/11/23, re-scheduled for 7/12/23.  Again with disappointment, no collectio

Supersonic Hairdryer Power Cord

My supersonic stopped working. The filter is clean but the green light on the plug does not appear to be coming on We have tried in several plug sockets and have pushed the test button. The Dyson support page is useless. The email support utterly useless and sent me to the accessories page which had no power cords on it. The phone line is useless over hour wait to speak to no one. I just want to know where I can buy a replacement USA cord for my machine - $650 cost for 3 year use is hopeless if you cannot fix the machine. Very disappointed with Dyson support and seeking any help possible.

Dyson Ball Animal Multifloor Corded Upright Vacuum Cleaner - brush bar won't spin

Hi, hope someone can help. The brush bar on my vacuum has stopped spinning when it's in contact with the floor, if I loft the vacuum up off the floor, it spins like it should normally, so I know it's not the grey switch and it's not turned off. I've taken the brush out and cleared out any fluff/hair that was in there, I've check the metal connectors and there is nothing in those. I've watched a bunch of you tube videos but none seem to have the same head as this. I'm stumped. Thanks for any help.

How do I resolve my Dyson V8 Animal vacuum's battery working intermittently?

My v8 animal after 30 seconds of usage stop working. I have to put it back to docking station for just a second or two and then is fine. Sometimes I have to re-do this every few minutes.Any idea?(Moderation edit - title updated)

When is the Dyson Airstrait coming to Australia?

Been waiting for the airstrait to come south for a long time! Keep emailing them and they are saying they have no release date which doesn’t sound convincing. One customer care person told me to put my address, phone number, email and date of birth in for updates which didn’t seem necessary… Hoping that we get some more updates for the Australia/New Zealand girls!! Only see them respond to UK/Europe girlies!! xx

hot/ cold purifier error

I have owned my hot cold purifier for two years and last week it suddenly developed an issue. A warning triangle displayed in the screen and it stopped. I have turned off at the socket and re started but each time it runs for a couple of minutes and then the error re appears. Once I have the error the remote will not work, the only way to switch it off is by the socket.I also checked the filters which appear fine- the machine has not been used intensively.I called the support line who simply said I had to return it and pay £99 to rectify. Ahead of doing that I thought I would seek advice from the community.ThanksMatt

360 Vis Nav Persistent Noise When Docked

My recently bought Dyson 360 Vis Nav is making a persistent noise when docked. It’s like a cross between a clicking and a whirring. Very short but repeats about every 10 seconds for long periods. I can’t see any link between cleaning/cooling/charging. It seems to be completely random. It’s not all the time, but pretty often and for long periods at a time. It’s driving me mad and will be being returned if it’s a normal feature!

Dyson battery not properly charging -only when red button is pressed

Hi AllI do have a Dyson V8 (serial starting with RA-6) and the battery doesn’t seem to charge properly.When I plug the charger in absolutely nothing is going on. However, when plugged in and I press the ‘hoover button’ the battery shows signs of life and one bar is blinking, and often after several hours I get 2 to 3 bars.That means currently I plug the charger in, and I squeeze a ball of paper in the handle to keep the hoover button pressed. Sometimes the Dyson gets charger but the whole thing seems odd.Do I need to replace the battery?Thanks, Daniel

Morph Solarcycle Morph light keeps turning off every few minutes

I had been a satisfied user of the Dyson Morph for over a year, and initially, I was pleased with its performance. However, starting from a few months ago, I experienced occasional instances where the device would turn off by itself. At the time, I attributed this to potential motion sensor sensitivity and didn't pay much attention.Regrettably, the problem seems to have intensified recently, with the Dyson Morph frequently shutting down on its own—even when the motion sensor is turned off!Annoyed by this recurring issue, I did some research and found many similar complaints from other users regarding the device's erratic behaviour. I'd like to know whether your team has identified the root cause of this issue and, if so, what steps can be taken to rectify it?!

No button on the head for turning the laser on/off

Hi,Where is the laser on/off switch on the newer model head?The manual shows a switch on the top right back, but the head I have does not have such a switch and looks like the one posted in this post:So, how can I turn the laser on/off on this head?

I will never buy a Dyson product again - refund is a joke

I see all the negative feedback from the community regarding a refund, I’m experiencing exactly the same ….and on principle will never buy a Sir Dyson product again.I’m sure Sir Dyson would be delighted to hear that the company name he has built up is in such poor hands.I’m looking forward to a personal call back from Sir Dyson to apologies and thank me for flagging this

Where is my refund?

Hello,Can someone at Dyson get back to me regarding my refund?The product return and confirmed by Dyson that they received on 11/6/2023 at 5:32 pm. The email indicated that I will received my refund within 7-14 days.  As of today, January 2,2024 I have not received my refund.Many phone calls and emails follow up, but still running around same as the first email.  (7-14 days).While Dyson is good product and expensive too but customer service and the service team in horible.Each time call you have to wait at least 90 minutes.Are there anyone working at Dyson?Can someone look into my order and process my refund.Help.ctran

V8 and V7 interchangeable accessories

I have two cordless vacuum cleaners.  A V8 Total and a V7 Fluffy.  Most accessories appear to be interchangeable. However the main rotating carpet accessory for the V8 does not rotate when fitted to the V7. Does the V7 require a different rotating carpet accessory?  If so what is the model number and price?

Customer Service SO TERRIBLE

What is going on with Dyson???  I created an order in error and immediately contacted Customer Service.  The phone rep said she would cancel the order, which she did not.  When the item was received, I returned the item immediately.  It has been over 35 days since Dyson received the hair dryer at its warehouse.  I have spoken to multiple reps, sometimes for over an hour to try and resolve.  No one can advise as to why I have not received my refund of $548.  Online chat is even worse, with truly incompetent employees and terrible waits.  Honestly the worst chat experiences ever.Dyson has the most awful customer service I have ever experienced, and I don’t understand why.  The products are so high end, but customer service means long waits to access an agent, no resolution, and even longer waits to actually get a refund.  It makes me question whether Dyson is a good company.  If I can’t even get my money back (supposedly a simple transaction), how in the world would Dyson ever be able to

Help with creadit note

Hi I bought my wife corral straightener and hair dryer at the same time. Only one turned up on the next day delivery. As this was a present and the other one didn’t turn up I rang customer services to find out why. They offered me credit note to use in the future, so I’ve just been on the phone to Charles and he couldn’t find the note of course. I asked to speak to somebody else that could sort it and was told there was no one else. I asked him if there was anybody else I could speak to and was told it was only him. I find it hard to believe that Charles is the only employee in Dyson and no one else can help. I said I would hold to speak to somebody else  but he said he’s the only one. Please can somebody help to get my last credit back and rectify this situation. After my conversation with Charles, I’m not  holding out for much hope. thanks Paul

How can I get help for a UK courier delivery query?

I placed an order and called within an hour to cancel as I thought I was buying the Dyson Airstrait. The person who I spoke to said they have cancelled the order. I received an email saying the item is on its way to me, so I called again and they said I just need to refuse delivery once it comes. A few days later a DPD driver knocked on my door had the dyson order in their hand and I told them that I want to refuse so it can he sent back to Dyson he said ok and went.  I noticed I didn't get an email or a refund so I called Dyson and the person on the phone said that they have a picture of me (this was when I opened the door to see who it was) so Dyson believed that I took the order when I didn't. I’ve called 5 times and every time I call they say someone will get back to me once they have contacted the courier.  This is completely unfair as the courier has clearly stolen the package.  It is Dysons responsibility to instruct courier companies that are trustworthy and honest, it is not f

Airstrait release - still nothing

So, i checked instagram - alerts ready at Dyson - still not one word from Dyson on the release date for europe. Surely marketing at Dyson should be on this? Not even for Christmas can we get one - and why doesnt anyone from Dyson have any date or even month? you keep saying check our insta/website  - well i have done.. and they tell me nothing.

Dyson goes off during vacuuming and discharges battery completely

Hello everyone, our Dyson V11 has been having massive problems for a few weeks now. It suddenly went out and discharged the battery completely, so that it was defective and could not be revived even in the charging station. We then bought a new battery and the vacuum cleaner now works sporadically. Nevertheless, despite sufficient remaining runtime, the vacuum cleaner simply goes out again and the battery is completely drained again. We then have to fully charge it again so that we can vacuum for 5 minutes and then start all over again. If the vacuum cleaner is left in a corner, it also discharges completely after around 5-6 hours. I suspect that an electrical part is faulty. It's obviously not the battery, could it be the pole or the suction foot?

Issue with the dyson pure hot+cool oscillation

When my dyson is set on oscillating it makes this strange almost humming/scratching sound. It’s like it’s rubbing against something making its squeak. Best way i can explain it is rubbing your hand against a balloon. Can someone help please?

Hey! This has probably been asked several times already but the Dyson V8 Animal brush bar will not rotate after all troubleshooting completed.Is there any shop in Cork, Ireland that I can take it into for repair or assistance? There are only Dyson stores in Dublin. I bought it on online store.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

I have never in my life experienced customer service so bad. With such high end products and reputation is hard to quite believe how bad it is. It does seem my experience is not isolated.I was on the phone for ONE WHOLE HOUR just requesting a returns label for a I ordered.  They then informed me it would take FIVE DAYS to email me the returns label.  It actually only took three (What the actual??) for them send me two returns labels from different places (one from dyson and one from parcelforce).  Having posted back my battery, Im a month down the line, with no refund, not even an email.When you try their helpline, you just end up on hold with no resolution.  (Ive been left on hold for 20 minutes...) They have basically taken my money and ran. I’d be interested to know if anyone has ever managed to successfully get a refund (without spending many hours on the phone). I certainly will not be ordering any Dyson product again.
