oversea dyson vacuum

I bought the V15 from United States and brought it back to Malaysia to use and she uses the power converter but her vacuum kept breaking down. heard from friend that oversea appliances even with power converter can’t be used in Malaysia. Is there any truth in this? Is this the cause that causes her V15 kept breaking down?

v15 vaccum intermittently working

Hello, My Dyson V15 is intermittently working only purchased less than a year ago, so well within warranty. I have now phoned the Dyson customer service team 3 times and been provided with 3 different answers and also hung up on and when I asked to escalate was told there is no process for this.Essentially. I have been advised I need a new cyclone motor and there are none in stock and was told no estimated time frames could be given. I would just have to wait on an email notification. Which could be a day a week a fortnight or longer. This is not good enough I cannot wait a week 2 weeks are longer. Please Dyson why can’t you Lyst swap your faulty machine out.  I would love someone to contact me on this.Thanks Michael

Unbelievable service - failure to refund and hours and hours of wasted time

Good afternoonI am posting to the community as nothing else has worked. This has been singularly the worst ever consumer experience I have ever had. My order number is is 1504698172 for anyone at Dyson reading this.4 months after Dyson failed to deliver the order, after promising a refund, and after multiple exchanges with customer service, here I am. Still waiting for the refund after a series of broken promises by Dyson. The story is set out below. I now see that I am not alone in receiving this kind of experience.  I reside in France, making this situation even more difficult. However, it seems that I will need to engage court action in France to get redress. Awful awful service.INTRODUCTIONThis is a last desperate attempt to allow Dyson UK to remedy an awful and inexcusable experience with what is supposed to be a leading UK company. Has anyone actually ever received an order from Dyson?

I made a purchase in Feb that said it would be here in 3-7 days. 1 day later got an email that it was back ordered for 4 weeks. 5 weeks passes and I get another email that it’s delayed another 2 weeks. No one can give me an update and whenever I ask to cancel the order because it’s been almost 2 months waiting for something I should have just ordered from a reputable store, I get ignored. Only when I threaten to engage my credit card provider does Dyson care at all. I know this post will be deleted but I have no shortage of emails and accounts that I will make and repost it :-). All my communications attached.

V8 serial number unrecognised on website

Have a V8 animal purchased direct from dyson in 2021 its serial number starts f7w and the battery has stopped working, flashing red. But the dyson website says my serial number does not exist and so unsure which battery to order . Also live chat on my phone keeps bouncing back to top and is not very user friendly at all .Thanks Kim.

Dual voltage airwrap 2nd generation

I can not believe that the second generation air wrap device isn’t dual voltage, a device that is this sophisticated and expensive really should be compatible to other  countries than the one of purchase (Uk) Please tell me that there is a solution to this issue as I would love to be able to travel with it in future.

Vis Nav 360 map skewed

My robot has completed a clean this morning but it’s results are are skewed by about 20 degrees anti-clockwise so I guess I'm  reporting this as a possible bug in the latest software update.

What happened to Dyson Customer Service??

My V11 brush bar started to delaminate making a horrible sound when I use it.  I order a replacement part. Instead of the brush bar, I received a water tank assembly part….I contacted digital customer service which was so slow to respond I gave up. They must be supporting tons of customers at once. Then I called today, March 27 at 8:54 HST (just in case you want to listen to the transcript of the rude, unhelpful agent) and got the worst customer service experience ever. If your company goal is to be as unhelpful as possible so as to avoid customer contact in the futre, then you are exceeding expectations. Considering the reputation of your products, the reputation of your customer service should be similar. Clearly you outsourced this to the lowest cost and least trained option possible. It was deplorable. I own many dyson products, the Dyson hairdryer, Dyson V11, Dyson V12, Dyson Purifier Big and Quiet, Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde and an old Dyson vacuum.  Customer service was ne

2 week old Dyson V10 Animal. Cuts off after a few seconds

I just received by Dyson V10.  Charged it up and on the first use it cut off after a few seconds.   All 3 lights are blue when I start to use the vacuum, then it makes a humming noise and a single red light flashes, then nothing.    I can wait a few minutes and try again, and get the same result.   There is no blockage.

airwrap filter still failing after cleaning

I’ve been cleaning the filters but today it repeatedly kept failing. There are videos online showing how to take it apart for a deeper clean. What should I do? Please don’t point me to videos showing how to use the circular brush or how to clean the filters- I have done that.

LOST PACKAGE - Dyson is no help

I placed an order with Dyson on 2.10.24. It was shipped and a tracking number was assigned. It never showed up. UPS lost the package. Any other time this has happened to me with any other company, they have wanted to make it right and taken on the responsibility. Not Dyson. It is my responsibility for some reason to file a claim with UPS, which I did. I worked with UPS and they reviewed and decided the package was indeed LOST. It has now been weeks of me reaching out to Dyson every day. I can’t get anyone on the phone and the chat and email have been no help. Just a lot of sorry we will get this sorted out but no actual help or answers or a timeline on this. I am not even asking for a refund. I just want the vacuum I ordered over a month ago. How hard is it to send me out a new vacuum and then sort this out internally? Worst experience with customer service by far. I see that I am not alone and this seems to be a normal thing for Dyson.

Vacuum V15 keeps turning off several times

Hi,I have my V15 for less than a year. In the past weeks it started to switch off every time I use it.After few seconds it turns off, it does this 3 or 4 times and then it works just fine.I clean the filter regulartly, it looks very clean. I also fully cleaned the dust bin. Nothing really helps.I don’t think its a problem with the filter and not the battery either since its quite new.There are no error messages on the display. What to do next. I don’t really want to buy a new battery or filter to find out that it doesn’t fix the problem.

my dyson fan pure cool machine tells me that the air in my room is in the severe range.

Even though I have changed the filter in my fan and followed the deep clean schedule, it shows on the app that my air quality is in the severe range. I haven’t been able to find any way to reset it and get an accurate reading of the air quality. There is absolutely no reason for it to be reading the air as severe. I’ve tried moving it from room to room, and also taking it to my patio, and it gives the same reading wherever it is. Does anyone have any ideas on why it’s doing this and what I can do to fix it?

Dyson V8 Vacuum Sucks Too Hard On a Rug

Hi, We have just received a Dyson V8 vacuum as a wedding gift, it works great on our hardwood floors, however we have a relatively thin (1/8’’) rug that the motorhead attachment gets completely stuck on. From research it seems that the vacuum is sucking too hard and that maybe not enough airflow is getting in to the vacuum so it stops completely. I have tried calling customer support, but is there an easy fix for this? unfortunately both suction modes do not work. If there is a different attachment we could buy to make it work that would work as well.

Dyson Outsize Wall Mount

Just bought the Dyson Outsize last week for my new home. I installed the wall mount by following the instructions & video and the top screw is not secure. It moves side to side but cannot go in any further or else it will damage the plastic mount. Once the vacuum is on the mount it pulls it off 1 or 2 mm from the wall. Is this normal? I’m worried one of these days it's going to come crashing down… Photo attached! Thanks!

logging a complaint

I have been waiting for a hoover part for the last 4 weeks and the reason I have not received this item is due to Dyson cancelling the order and then reordering the item delaying the process . They say it a glitch ( not believing the excuse) , I am on my 3rd order number and I don’t have any hope this will be dispatched anytime soon . I have logged a complaint via their webchat which is dubious to say the least. I work in customer service and to not have a point of contact via email to register complaints and concerns is unacceptable. Dyson take note you must do better if you want to keep your reputation.

Dyson V15 Absolute Detect - Irritating Throat & Nose

I got my V15 a few weeks ago and absolutely love it; however, it seems to be causing some irritation when I use it - the back of my throat gets scratchy and my nasal passage gets irritated/inflamed feeling.  This is my 3rd Dyson (and nicest) and I’ve never had this issue before, nor with the cheap Shark it is replacing.  My concern is that something is wrong with the filtration (I am very allergic to dust mites and a little allergic to my cat, so HEPA is crucial).  I believe the HEPA on the V15 is supposed to be top notch.  But it doesn’t set off my air purifier sensor (auto mode) when I run it in the same room.  Anybody have any thoughts?  Not sure if I need to return it or what.
