Dyson V12 defect!

Right after i started using my Dyson v12 detect slim (purchased on April 2024) it started saying the filter needed cleaning literally after every use. Whenever i start using it, after 5 to 10 minutes, the message filter needs cleaning appears. I cleaned the filter as instructed over and over and still got the same message. The filter message has been doing that for a while, I replace with a clean filter, and the message stays coming up, then randomly after a few uses goes off again.  Doing this on boost, eco and normal mode.I contacted Dyson customer support SA team who instigated videos and photos, they asked me to remove the filter, this is the filter I had changed to a clean one about an hour before and had subsequently only hoovered up a couple of areas, nothing heavy at all and the filter was according to them filthy and needed cleaning. I don’t understand how the filter was like it was, given it was clean on an hour before and I’d done minimal hoovering since. It’s a fine grey du

Hey yall! So I wanted to come on here to express my experience with Dyson and honestly what I believe to be the best solution considering the concerns I started having about their customer service line.I contacted Dysons customer service line 1-4-24. After a whole hour of waiting, I finally get through. I expressed my situation about needing a replacement wand, bin, and soft roller head for my V10 and that I was still under warranty. After going through the long process and video call to show the damaged parts and “taking my information”, I was told I’d be receiving a whole brand new machine and upgraded to the V11. I was told I’d be emailed the shipping label to ship my vacuum over to their warehouse and once received the new vacuum will be shipped and that it’ll take 10-14 business days. I asked if I would receive information about the new vacuum and the tracking number as well and was told “yes once the warehouse receives my vacuum or that I could call and ask for the information”.

Bought Dyson Airstrait in Korea; but I am in Malaysia

I bought dyson airstrait in korea 2 weeks ago 15/05/2024 and bought it back Malaysia; however the airstrait is determine oversurged by Malaysia Dyson service centre and unable to claim warranty due to airstrait warranty is not support overseas and also unable to repair on own cost due to unavailability of spare part… hope i can have a reply here on how to send my airstrait back korea to claim warranty or can send the spare part to Malaysia Dyson service centre to repair.. it is a very new device and use less than 10 days.

New V11 won't charge fully at firsy use

Hi, I just bought a new Dyson V11 at Easter and has been charging for a couple of days, the battery went up to 75%, then went back down to 70% and just stuck there. This is my first Dyson and feel very disappointed for an expensive purchase. 😕 I will really appreciate your help. If anyone had the same experience, could you please let me know how did you resolve it? Many thanks!

Has anyone actually ever received an order from Dyson?

I made a purchase in Feb that said it would be here in 3-7 days. 1 day later got an email that it was back ordered for 4 weeks. 5 weeks passes and I get another email that it’s delayed another 2 weeks. No one can give me an update and whenever I ask to cancel the order because it’s been almost 2 months waiting for something I should have just ordered from a reputable store, I get ignored. Only when I threaten to engage my credit card provider does Dyson care at all. I know this post will be deleted but I have no shortage of emails and accounts that I will make and repost it :-). All my communications attached.

Has anyone else received an obviously used vacuum?? Complete with dirt still inside of it?

I just received my “new” Dyson v15 detect vacuum. It arrived with the box half open, Dyson sticker tape almost completely off. Opening the box completely showed that the vacuum had clearly already been used and was just thrown back into the box and then just sent to me.After speaking to “customer service” chat yesterday I was informed that there are no more of those vacuums available and I’d get an email someday when they were available again. I’ve never seen such horrendous service before in my life! I’ve had over 6 Dyson vacuums throughout my life and never encountered anything like this before! Is this the new normal for this company? I’m in shock over this entire experience.

Dyson v6 pulsing only with floor attachment

Hi all I have a Dyson v6. It works fine with the mini-attachments, but once the floor attachment is connected it works for roughly 60 seconds and then pulses.I have already:Tried a new filter Checked everything for blockages Tried a different floor headDoes anyone have any other suggestions?

HELP CURLS NEVER HOLD OR LAST LONGER THAN 2 MINS

I'm at my wits end! I'm so fed up of the curls falling 5 minutes after I've done them. I've used no products, I've used different hair mouses, curling creams. Hair mouse on its own. Hair mouse with curling creme. I've tried it with 10%-90% dry hair. Tried with damp. Used the cool shot. Made sure my roots are dry. Tried with wet roots too! And of course tried hairspray. I've used the round brush, and both of the barrel sizes. I've blown away from my face and towards my face. I've also used hair pins and pinned the curls up. I grab the hair from the end, get good tension. Despite all this the curls will fall out after 5 mins. Someties 30 if i do everything listed. I'm so done, please can someone help me! I'm beginning to hate my dyson and feel like I've wasted my money.  Help

Anyone have issues with GLS shopping?

I recently purchased directly from Dyson, and my order was shipped on 11/11 through GLS (which took 2 chats to find out because the shipping confirmation email did not have a courier listed, and chat experts were not too helpful).2 days since shipping, and GLS doesn't have my package yet. I asked Dyson if they can check if the package was picked up, only to be answered with “it takes 2-10 biz days for orders to get delivered” which did not give me much confidence.I have only heard of not so great things about GLS so I’m nervous. Anyone had issues like this before?

V12 Detect Slim rollers not spinning

Hi I bought this vacuum for my mom for mother's day and we charged it to 100%. Everything works fine except none of the attachments with the rollers are spinning. The vacuum just sucks in the air, not sure if I have to press a button to enable them to spin so she can vacuum the carpets. I tried googling the problem but all I got was "unclog the rollers and clean them". We just took it out of the box that arrived yesterday and it's brand new. All we are doing is snapping on the attachments and turning on the vacuum. The rollers don't spin at all. Am I missing something? Please help

Dyson Airstrait packaging

When I purchased my airwrap, it came in a beautiful and sturdy blue box. I have just received my Airstrait, but is just in a cardboard box.  I would like to keep my Airstrait in the same way as the airwrap, can I get similar box to the airwrap for it? The price isn't different,  so this feels like a cheap option.

Replacement cleaner head for your Dyson vacuum cleaner. I have received several Emails from Dyson over the past few months to inform me that the above part is now in stock and available to order. I immediately try to order the part on receipt of the message from Dyson, whereon I am informed by the Dyson algorithm that the part is actually out of stock. Has anyone got any ideas on how to resolve this? Regards Paul

self cleaning cycle not working

I use the cleaner until i get the flat battery warning.I do everything to the letter as far as cleaning the tray emptying the dirty water refilling with clean.I put the unit on charge , I  press the correct buttons in the correct order ...all i get is the flat battery warning (Dysons instructions are”the wet cleaner cleans while charging”) It appears to start after part charging, is this the process I should follow ?,I have read every instruction video and written instruction by dyson and part charging is NOT mentioned.Please do not refer me to the help desk..they are useless. I have watched the instruction video(you know, the nice lady in the white pants) many times she  cleans the machine press’s a button and it self cleans.     B.S.Help please

HELP - Dyson keeps canceling my battery replacement order!

So I ordered a replacement battery online at the dyson website.   I paid online via Credit Card (you should do this).  A little later I received an email 1 asking me to confirm the purchase via a link.  The link button was dead - i.e. it did nothing.  Then a minute or so later I received an email stating that dyson had canceled my order, they didn’t know why, and stating that the card had been authorized but not charged. .  I checked my CC and yes there was a pending charge for the battery.  Since their phone support was down until the next day I waited.   But I did email a dyson help email address that I had used before in hope that when I got up the next day they would have a resolution.  Sadly a few minutes after receiving a reply to that email giving me a case number (one of many I have now)  also stating they would contact me the next day, I received an automated email stating that the help email address was not monitored and that I should contact customer service.The next day I s

V12 detect battery

Hello everyone!  I love my V12 Detect slim vacuum but not being able to buy a battery is getting a bit ridiculous. I signed up for them to notify me a year or more ago when the vaccum first came out. I also used my mother's email address and my girlfriends thinking it would increase my odds of getting one. We still have yet to receive an email saying stock was available. I also contacted Dyson by phone and chat, but still no luck. I would recommend this vacuum to everyone if it wasn't for the battery issue. The vacuum cleans so incredibly well!  Does anyone know of a last shot chance of getting a battery?  I've literally tried everything.

New Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool™ HP09 Formaldehyde (White / Gold) plastic burnng smell

Hi ,I purchased the above unit and it arrived yesterday - i unpacked and correctly fitted the inner and outer filters, then after a while i noticed an acrid plastic burning smell. I had to turn the unit off. one at a timeI removed all filters = no smelli added just the white paper outer filters = no smelli added just the blue plastic inner filter = burning plastic smell.I contacted online support and they kindly shipped a replacement filter , but this appeared to be only the outer filter.I went back to the support desk and they advised that the inner blue filter is no longer needed , as it has been integrated into the new outer white filter - can you confirm this is correct please ?regardsLea

My gen 5 outsize motorcar xl is not rotating.  I have taken apart, cleaned it out, cleaned filters, but no luck.  Impossible to vacuum without it rotating.  Help please.  Soft roller works just fine

my dyson fan pure cool machine tells me that the air in my room is in the severe range.

Even though I have changed the filter in my fan and followed the deep clean schedule, it shows on the app that my air quality is in the severe range. I haven’t been able to find any way to reset it and get an accurate reading of the air quality. There is absolutely no reason for it to be reading the air as severe. I’ve tried moving it from room to room, and also taking it to my patio, and it gives the same reading wherever it is. Does anyone have any ideas on why it’s doing this and what I can do to fix it?

Seeking Assistance in Identifying a Counterfeit Dyson Supersonic Flyaway Tool

I have bought this flyaway tool from a seller on ebay that claims it is a new genuine product, however there are telltale signs such as the magnet not being strong, there being imperfections on the item itself and the plastic around the connecter being a shiny plastic instead of matt. I have compared this to my other attachments. Please could someone help identify if it is a counterfeit? The seller is offended and point blank refuses that it is a fake.

Dyson UK state on the website that it is next day delivery 7 days a week if ordered by 8pm, twice now I have not received my order next day when ordering before 8pm. First one I ordered before 8pm on a Friday, the shipping label was produced but Dyson did not hand the parcel to DPD until Saturday, this was then kept in the DPD depot until Monday which is when it was delivered when it should have been delivered on the Sunday and the second order I ordered before 8pm on a Saturday, again the shipping label produced and this time whilst it was handed to DPD in time for them to make next day delivery (Sunday) they didn’t and instead delivered it on the Monday again.The first order was Dyson’s fault next day delivery failed as DPD weren’t handed the parcel until the next day however this should have been delivered on the Sunday, second one was DPD’s fault as this should have also been delivered on the Sunday as they had been handed the parcel in time to do this. TP07 air flow

Have had a Dyson fan for years and love it. Bought a new one recently and boy oh boy, there is no comparison regarding the air flow. New fan just doesn’t put out much air. Disappointed.  Curious if others have noticed this. Maybe the air purifier has something to do with it.Anyway it’s not up to par with my old fan.

V7 - Troubleshooting - Need more support!

Hi Folks. While brand new to the Community, I’ve dealt with Support several times around my dead V7.When I called Support the first time, several months ago, she diagnosed that I needed a new “main body”.  I agreed and paid to have one shipped to me.  The V7 didn’t work with the new Main Body.  I called back and they then diagnosed that it’s in need of a new battery.  I complied and paid for a new battery.  STILL didn’t work.  I called a third time and this time he said I need a new charger.  I was sent a charger, and guess what- still nothing.  Instead of calling again, I am reaching out to this community for help.Here’s what I get now: Any press of the power trigger, even momentarily, results in the red light in the battery pack flashing 32 times.  Even when I simply plug in the charger and touch nothing else, I’ll get the 32 flashes. If I hold the trigger down for over the duration of the 32 red flashes, I’ll get one green flash, then nothing else.So - I have a new Main Body, a new

Box for shipping

I purchased a Dyson air purifier last May.  It had been working just fine until this morning when the readings were very obviously incorrect.  Did all of the troubleshooting.  Was on chat for 1 ½ hours trying to get a solution.  Because I don’t have the box it came in 6 months after I bought it, or any box that it would fit in, and I live 150 miles away from the nearest UPS Store, I am apparently out of luck.  I can’t believe that Dyson won’t mail me a box to return their defective product in.  Paid $529.99.
