I got a Dyson V12™️ Detect Slim Absolute, it was all good until it wasn't. Now I'm trying to get some information about how to get help.

We’d be very happy to try and help you with your Dyson V8™️ vacuum. Please create a post within the Community forum and provide as much detail as possible about the issue you’re having, and what troubleshooting steps you’ve tried so far. You can also include photos if that helps illustrate the problem.

If we can’t resolve the issue here, we’ll let you know how to get in touch with Dyson Customer Care for further support.


Hi Stuart this is our little fur baby Milly she has just turned 12yr old on valentine's day I have a Dyson V8 animal hoover it has been brilliant but I'm having a few problems with it lately so I'm hoping the community can help me fix it

Hey all!! I’m a busy mom of 2 boys and a nurse practitioner. I have two golden retrievers so between my unruly hair I’m always on the lookout for the best products to maintain my hair and my houses hair problem 🫣.. Dyson is the best and we all know that but I would love the opportunity to be apart of testing any of their products! Thank you for your time ❤️

Hi Stuart, My name is ke. I have Dyson v10 cyclone animal. I am waiting for main body and cyclone for my machine over month. Dyson Canada is still out of stock. I do not use Dyson v10 very hard, once a week. The machine could not work just warranty expired (two years warranty). I bought the machine 2022 August. Low quality, high price and low service. I don’t know who can help me.

What a great zone I have found! I was looking for a vacuum robot, and I have heard a lot of good reviews about the Dyson ones. Then I found this amazing Dyson haven, where proud Dyson’s mums and dads share their stories. Anyway!

 

I am Eman, mum of 3, originally from Egypt, yeah the “pharaohs” the first thing come to your mind :D

I have moved with my partner and my first kid here since 2017 and I had my other two here in UK.

I work as an Arabic Teacher and I love it! It is a part time job so I have the rest of my day to freak cleaning. As I consider it one of my stress relievers!

Unfortunately I have not had any Dysons yet but soon I will!!!

happy to join the community although it’s a customer service topic that brings me here. I m a Dyson fan.

i bought the V11 4 years ago and I love it. I ve converted my friends and family to Dyson, vowing for its excellence… and then my Dyson died. I m not giving up on Dyson just yet, but I do think the customer service needs more attention. Even as my Dyson was at the repair centre I was out with my mom buying her a Dyson. So like I said, I still vouch for the product I m just disappointed at the customer service and hoping to see some light through this community. Thank you and stay well !

I’m Judy  and I love my old D17 upright but am getting used to my new v8 absolute hand held.  Dyson is such a great quality product I don’t think I would ever buy a different brand!!!!

Hi, everyone! Thank you, @Stuart for your efforts on this community forum. I’ve been active, but “lurking” on this community for a while now—and your posts/replies have been super helpful! I hope you are having great success in your new venture(s).

I’m Ethan! I’ve been wanting to post my introduction for months now, but life has been busy! However, I am a busy pharmacy student with a fascination and interest in Dyson as a company, as well as their unique and tech-focused product line-up! I bought my first Dyson product last spring, the V8 Origin from Target. I fell in love with the impressively quick and easy nature of this cordless vacuum, and a few months later, I bought the V12 Detect Slim (which I ended up gifting to my parents, who are obsessed with it for quick clean-ups). Shortly thereafter, I purchased a Pure Hot+Cool Formaldehyde (HP09) for myself, a Pure Cool Formaldehyde (TP09), a Gen5detect Absolute (the “Rolls Royce of vacuum cleaners”!), a Pure Cool Me (BP01), and finally am currently trying-out the Big+Quiet Formaldehyde (BP04). Clearly, I’m obsessed.

I am primarily interested in the Air Treatment and Vacuum Cleaner categories here, but am also intrigued and well-versed in the entire Dyson product lineup! I am super interested in trying out the Supersonic Nural hairdryer (even though I barely style my short, male hair—it seems super neat!), the Zone Absolute+ headphones, and the Solarcycle Morph desk and floor lamps in the future.

My intention is to become more active with this community as a way to collaborate and collectively discuss Dyson products, as well as helping out with solutions to questions/concerns/problems that I know of! As a healthcare provider and academic, I also love to discuss the engineering behind these products as well as scientific concepts in air treatment, hair/scalp-care, etc.

I hope to see a lot of you around these forums—thank you for having me here! :-)

My name’s Saad. I’m a stockist and reseller of Dyson products in Pakistan. I love Dyson products, their impeccable design and tech tops all.

Each one of my customer who purchased Dyson products absolutely loves them. It’s great creating awareness in the local market here through means of social media marketing and otherwise.

Having spent a good 10 years in the Middle East, I aim to make Dyson products accessible to the Pakistan population.
