The battery when in max mode for 5 mins or so gets so hot that you have to remove and place on a tile type surface, unit bought approx 2 years ago seems to be getting worse

It’s normal for batteries to generate some heat in use, especially in Max power mode, but this shouldn’t be excessive. Please do not continue to use your machine until our Customer Care experts in your region can take some further details to ensure your vacuum is working correctly.
