Hi, I just bought the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool Formaldehyde, I thought there was an option to have the purifier on without the hot or cold options but I can’t seem to find it. I’ve tired to call but the wait time is 75 minutes.

Unfortunately, you cannot have the purifier feature on by itself. You can use it only with the fan or the hot mode, it’s just that you choose which temperature of air you want (heated or unheated). It always project clean air along with those features.
The only difference between conventional air purifiers is that it blows the clean air to you like a fan rather than just blowing the air vertically.
If you do not wish to feel the direct wind blow, you can always use the diffuse mode.
