Lack of support for purchasing/ordering new original Dyson repair parts. Dyson has no way to sell components for repairing Dyson equipment to the general public, this goes against the new EU right to repair laws that other European manufacturers must follow. Dyson only supplies items that can be replaced without tooling. If intellectual rights are a issue, just add a registered serial number and adress to the order requirements.

Thanks for confirming! The laws you’ve referenced apply in Europe, specifically France and Spain. In the UK we comply with current UK legislation.
We do not sell internal components where the installation process could expose our customers to the risk of electrical shock, and all repairs should be carried out by a competent qualified engineer.

This is only for parts that require no tools to replace, dyson point blank refuses to sell internal components. So what your saying is only correct for items like filters and pumps, which are "normal consumables". If you run the self diagnostic on your machine and land up with a internal error, dyson point blank will refuse to sell you the repair part, this going against the right to repair laws in the EU. I have tried on multiple occasions to purchase a replacement control board, I landed up having the machine dropped into a dyson store for reparing the part I know is at issue.
