My Supersonic r has a big plug adapter (which I wasn’t expecting) and came with a warning that says “This plug must be inserted in an upright position into an upright plug only.” However, every single outlet in my apartment is sideways. Is it OK to use the Supersonic r with the plug adapter plugged in sideways? I don’t want to damage my machine. Please advise!

Our official advice would be to use the plug in an upright position, per the guidance supplied with the plug.
