If Alexa did not respond to your most recent request, it is possible that what you said may not have been recognised as a question or command.
To make sure Alexa recognises your request, speak clearly and ensure you are close enough to your device to be heard.
To check if Alexa is able to hear you, just ask "Alexa, did you hear me?".
