Purifier connecting to wifi but not the app

Hi I have a 2017 Hot+Cool purifier that I have lost the remote for due to moving house. I can connect the machine but once it’s connected the app just goes back to the ‘add a machine’ page and I’m unable to use the app as the remote. Any idea how I can get it to actually connect to completion? Additionally, if I just get a replacement remote will they still work on my machine? thanks

Trying to understand the "filter life" indicator on Dyson app.

Hello, I own a TP02 Pure Cool Link Air Purifier and I'm trying to understand how the air purifier "remaining use" is calculated. Early in 2022, the app. told me I have 55% filter life remaining. I do not know what happened but there was a disruption in power and after trying to reconnect the machine and app., the filter reset itself back to 100%! I'll take that mistake as I must have hit some button to reset the filter life indicator, is the only thing I can think of? Yesterday, the filter life was showing about 60% on the phone app. Today, a new router was installed for WiFi and the Dyson would not hook back up to the app so, the machine had to be "removed" from the app and reinstalled. Well, after I got it working again, the filter-life indicator on the app said it is at 98%?! So, in reality ( so sorry for this long post! )  that filter from early 2022, which had 55% filter life indicated, was unfortunately reset twice in a year span, is currently at 98%?! My point is , finally, that

Purifier - Wifi connectivity help!

Had my Dyson fan hot and cool for coming up to two years. very recently its just dropping off the app which won’t connect. The Wi-Fi symbol is flashing so have to reach for the plug. Turn off and turn back on. it is right next to the router. In the living room. no other device is having connectivity issues. So unsure if a firmware update has happened recently?

PH03 and temperature settings - How do I use heating mode?

I have PH03 new user. Set it up to run everything on auto mode to start. I am not finding where I can adjust the temperature as I found that it is blowing cold air so I like to adjust so it blows out heat instead.Thanks in advance. (Moderation Edit - Tags Added)

Humidifier - Water tank refill notification, despite full water tank

I am getting a water tank refill notification, despite having a full water tank. The lid and pump assembly was replaced under warranty, but I am now getting the message again and am out of warranty by one week. I have been through all of the trouble shooting steps and nothing works. It doesn’t make sense to pay for a costly part replacement only to have it happen again. At this price point I really expect a better quality product. Any advice?

Purifier - Customise Night mode in the App

Hi, i see online (here) that it is possible to customise night mode for one of the fans, does anyone know if this is possible for the hot and cool purifier? And if so, how please? Dyson hot + cool - Remote control range too short

I purchased a hot and cool fan in December 22. The fan does not respond to the remote control at more than 120 cm from the fan. When within 120 cm the temperature change does not respond very quickly and sometimes skips 2 degree.A replacement machine acted the same.Somebody I know has an older model with identical looking remote that respond at 3 metresIs this a machine manufacturing fault or inadequate machine design Does anyone else have this problem? (Moderation Edit - Tags Added/Moved Category)

My brand new HP7A wont connect to the MyDyson app

My brand new HP7A machine won’t connect to the MyDyson app. I select to Add Machine, then it presents screen titled Select Your Dyson Machine with all the product categories listed e.g haircare, floorcare, air treatment etc. I select air treatment and then it gives two mock images of different machines telling me to pick the machine which most resembles my own. The bottom picture with the graph resembles mine so I select that, then get a screen that says “To begin please switch on or place on charge”. My machine is on, so I click continue and then get a message that “We’re having trouble detecting your machine”. I select continue again, then confirm my wifi and Bluetooth on my phone are on. I select continue on this screen and next get a screen which says “Connectivity could be disabled” and to press and hold the power button for 5 seconds and a wifi symbol will appear. No symbol appears and I get stuck in the same triage loop.  Can you guide please? The documentation in the box has fa

Dyson AM09 Fan - Cooling mode

Purifier - How to change settings from heat to cool without the remote

We lost our remote and Dyson are out of stock. Is it possible to change settings from heat to cool without the remote. When I turn the machine on it just blows hot air and there doesn’t seem to be anywhere to change it over? Can anyone help explain please?

Logitech Harmony & Dyson HP07 (Using a 3rd Party remote Control)

I have a Logitech Harmony 950 Universal Learning Remote and I’m trying to learn the commands from my Dyson HP07 to declutter my numerous remotes.As it is, the Dyson remote commands will not be learned by the Harmony remote.  On calling Logitech, the conclusion was to request the Pronto Hex Codes from Dyson so they can create a compatibility with the HP07.However, calling Dyson Support seems to confuse them as how to answer the question and where to find these “special codes”.So, I’m asking here, where can I get the Pronto Hex Codes for my Dyson HP07 so I can send it to Logitech and make my device compatible?

Purifier HP00 - Not oscillation when heating

Dyson Humidifier - Can you get to 70%? Help!

Has anyone actually had their dyson purifier and humidifier get up to 70%? Ours doesn’t go past 45% we’ve tried many of the tricks in the community.  (Edited by moderator – Tags added)

Dyson air purifier does not connect to fiber optic internet

HOA recently moved us to Summit fiber internet and the Dyson air purifier will not connect. According to customer service at Dyson, it is not possible for my expensive Dyson unit to connect to my internet nor my phone. There is no software update from Dyson to resolve this issue.Just giving a heads up to anyone thinking of buying this expensive unit. If you want to monitor your air in the house or monitor your filter, be sure it will connect to your internet. Please note mine did connect prior to changing services. It’s ridiculous in this day and age that Dyson cannot fix this problem. I asked customer support to file a complaint, but we know that probably  won’t happen. This is my second bad experience with Dyson. Previously a humidifier needed service, but they said they don’t do that and I had to trash it.  (Moderation Edit - Tags Added)

Dyson Purifier Cool - screen has gone blank

The screen on our air purifier has gone completely blank. The fan still works and when you use the app you can see the air quality data, so it seems like everything is still working except the display. I’ve checked that it’s not on Night mode and pressing the i button on the remote control doesn’t change anything. I’m stumped!

Purifier Heater - Oscillation disabled

Have had my machine for a little over a month now. It was purchased brand new at my local Best Buy. That being said, this has happened randomly about the 4th time now. The Dyson app will report with a red ! mark oscillation disabled. I go in my room to take a look and sure enough, the fan has stopped oscillating. Per the app. I use my remote and hit the oscillating button and it starts working again. What is causing this issue? I am still in my return period and wonder if this is an early failure warning to come? I use the oscillation breeze mode exclusively with this machine on 24/7.

Dyson Purifier humidity +Cool - Humidity help

My bedroom is way way too hot. Since turning the Dyson on 6 hours ago the temp has gone up from 23 to 24 degrees and even though humidity is set at 50% it refuses to drop below 63%.It's a bloomin expensive purchase to be hotter and more uncomfortable. Pure Hot + Cool Noisy

I've had the Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Link for about 6 yrs now and have been putting up with a low to medium pitch motor whine at fan speeds slower than level 3. While it is tolerable in a large siiting room or during the day when I'm awake, it is annoying during the night when used in the bedroom and the fan drops to the low speeds in Auto which causes interrupted sleep.Please listen to these audio recordings on my Google drive and advise if this is normal. Change Fan Speed on Heat Setting on Dyson Hot & Cool

Although I can change the fan speed on the Cool setting of my Purifier Hot & Cool, I can’t change it when it’s on the Heat setting - it just blasts out, even if I move the fan speed to 1.Is this normal!?(Edited by moderator – tags added)

Humidifier Water Level - App Alert

My tank runs out of water and doesn’t notify me each time. Wi-Fi is correct as sometimes it notifies me on my iPhone and Apple Watch and sometimes it doesn’t. I am at home almost every day all day. Why is this happening?!(Edited by moderator – Moved to a new category and Tags added)
