Remote control (969154-02) - How to pair?

Hi All, 

I just got the replacement remote control for my Dyson Purifier Cool. Does it needs to be “synced” with the main unit and if so how ?

Hi @gp78,

Nope. No pairing or syncing is necessary.

Remotes are programmed to work on the specific IRF for our machines.

Each purifier series have the own remote for this purpose.  

It should just work. If it doesn’t, it is possible the wrong one has been ordered. This post can help you ID the correct one for your model.

Hi @gp78, 

Adam is right. The remote controls released by Dyson work on IRF. 

It should work out of the box, if it were the right part. It ensure that it was, visit their part picker page here: Support | Purifiers | Dyson.

I image parts for their older technology were manufactured several years ago. If it is confirmed this is the right remote, the battery may be depleted. Try changing it before reordered.
