I was wondering if anyone else out there has the same problem as me, we own a dog and whenever I hoover with the V10 instead of smelling nice it smells doggy.I was wondering if I bought a new filter it would help, I’ve tried washing the filter numerous times.PS the hoover is 5 years old
I have around 4 Dyson products, 2 Dryer and V12 Vacuum Cleaner and a new V12 Submarine, and I decide to buy one more V12S again for using upstairs. but suddenly I have a problem with the last V12S Submarine just bought 1 month ago.I bought a new V12S submarine on 14 August 2023, Serial Number: DY 44875-01 from Vietnam. After 2 times, 7-8 days once, of using for cleaning, the V12S does not give out the water/cleaning agent for cleaning any more. I send it to Dyson Service Center in Việt Nam on 11 September 2023, for checking since it is a brand new. After 10 days, Dyson Service center claimed that the inside motor has problem although I use iit only 3 times but due to DYSON policy they can not replace this motor for us under warranty and we have to buy a new one. If I agree to buy a new one I have to wait for 4 months, and during this time what I use for cleaning ?Frankly, I am surprise with the service quality and would Iike to know is it correct that Dyson is not responsible for repla
HelloAfter the V7 Vacuum was charged for a full day, the unit can be switched on and runs OK until you switch to Max power. After approximately 5-10 seconds the machine cuts out ant the blue light then flashes. At this point the unit will not power on (in either normal or Max power mode). If you then charge the V7 for a few minutes it will then power on and switch on, but once again, if you switch to max the problem repeats.Has anyone else come across this problem?Any advice will be appreciated.ThanksAlanT1954
We own 5 Dyson Vacuum cleaners so we are loyal. However in the last 5 years we have had to buy 5 rotating heads for our DC59 and its always the same problem. The wires between the main connection to the vacuum to the motor in the brush head break A new one is expensive but I am now fed up with soldering and rebuilding the head. This is an obvious design flaw and does anybody have a solution?
I have a 4-year old V7 Fluffy, that has recently developed a fault. Most times, it won’t start, with the red LED flashing 10 times. If I’m patient and try it enough times, the cleaner may start. Once started it runs OK until I stop it. Subsequent restarts may be OK but sooner or later it reverts to sulking and giving me the red-eyed wink 10 times.Research suggests that 10 flashes on a V7 indicate a motor fault, not a battery fault. But as the cleaner does occasionally run, I’m wondering if I have a dirty or faulty connection somewhere. The problem has nothing to do any attachments, as it occurs even with no attachment.Suggestions welcomed.
Does anybody know where to get V15 HEPA filters? I’ve been signed up for the in-stock alert for more than a year, and checked back in every few weeks or so, it seems it is always out of stock. We spent money on this machine because it’s supposed to be the best for allergy sufferers, and it’s done great, but it is useless if I can’t buy consumable parts when I need them. Am I missing something? Or have margins on these vacuums really not bought any inventory or supply chain security whatsoever? I am out of filters and will be selling my filter-less V15 on Ebay and not looking back if there’s really nothing available… (Moderation Edit - Tags Added/Converted to Question)
I have a V11 Absolute which is just out of warranty. The problem I have is that increasingly it will cut out just for a second or so and then start up again. I have cleaned every nook and cranny I can think of and put on a new filter but nothing seems to make any difference.Any suggestions would be gratefully received. I got the pulsing and worked through clearing all blockages. I washed the filter (a new one in October 2022) and let it dry overnight. This solved the issue for setting 1 and 2, but I still get the issue when on MAX. (Edited by moderator – Moved to a new category/Tag added)
Hi has anyone experienced a drilling like noise when using the torque head on the V15 detect absolute please. It’s brand new and this is my third time of using it. I’ve done all the trouble shooting and tried it with the different heads which it is fine with so only makes this noise when using the torque head.
There seems to be no way to remove this particular wall mount as once it is locked in position there is no way to remove it.Please don't give me ludicrous answers like chat did. The staff at Sydney did not have a clue about this. I have owned machines all the way since v6 and all wall mounts were movable the Gen 5 not unless there is a special tool to get behind and move the lugs as you try to lift it which I doubt. No this one has been designed without removal and repositioning in mind. (Moderation Edit - Tags Added/Category Updated)
HiThe DC59 Floor Tool has been out of stock for months. Is there another floor tool that I can use instead of this one - which isCarbon fibre motorised floor toolPart No. 949852-05With stiff nylon bristles that drive deep into carpets, while carbon fibre filaments collect dust on hard floors.Thank you
Cut a long story short, I misplaced my dyson gen5 charger while transporting between clients, but now I can't seem to find anywhere where I can buy just a charger cable in Australia. Plenty available for the older models, but literally nothing for a gen5. Please help, as I love my gen5 so much 😢
Let's just say, I bought it on August 12, and Amazon shipped it quick, and now September 13 and still don't have a vacuum. It only worked for a few days, stopped charging, Dyson sent us a replacement part. When that didn't also fix a problem, they tell us to go to all the way NJ from Manhattan to see if we can repair. I just spent $1000, and need to drive an hour to see if we can fix the vacuum!?! No way. They gave me an option to drop it off at UPS and will send an entirely new vacuum. When I got to UPS, they said the reference number Dyson gave me was invalid. I had to call back again to Dyson and they gave me a new number. That didn't work again. Dyson says, "We can send you a label, you can pay for the box and ship it back". At this point I was FURIOUS. Asked for other options and they said we could wait like a week to get a box and UPS pick up. We have been vacuum-less for a month already and we have to wait more?! No way. I was so fed up and paid $40 for box and packing and just
I cannot remove the fluffy laser head to clean it. I’ve followed the instructions and unclicked the non laser end, but the fluffy head cannot be pulled away from the laser end of the plastic casing. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice? Thank you
Dyson V10 Absolute cutting out after approx 10 secs, the machine stops then can re pull the trigger,it starts and then stops again after approx 10 secs again, the bin has been cleaned out and the filter has been cleaned even though there are no filter or blockage lights on, there are 3 blue lights on indicating full charge. I have been on the troubleshooting guide as recommended which is going to order me a replacement battery, I don’t think this is the issue but will see when it arrives. Anyone out there have any ideas. (Moderation Edit - Tags Added)
I am thinking of buying the Dyson Gen5, however I have noticed that , from the description from the dyson site, the Prussian Blue/Rich Copper comes with an extra accessory to the color iron/blue- the low reach adapter.Am I correct ? If yes, why would anyone buy the iron/blue color if it comes with one less acessory than the Prussian Blue/Rich Copper ?Thanks
As you know, the V15s can’t officially be retrofitted to a standard V15.Let me rephrase it better: your 799€ vacuum cannot use a 150€ accessory that is fitted to the very same vacuum with an S at the end and with the same price and functionality. This due to two options, and whatever the answer, they’re both awful for customers and for a company like Dyson:you don’t want to you can’t due to a FW update issueNow the first one, although understandable, is a complete lack of respect towards your customers. We’re talking people that invested good money on what is supposed to be the best product on the market and I give you credit for that, is a great product, but being screwed over like this is something I wouldn’t expect to be honest. Especially because I, like many other people, would have been interested in purchasing that accessory, even with a higher price. But being cut out like this, with the very same model? That is not how you do it. You could have opted for an adapter if you reall
I have a Cyclone V10 Animal vacuum cleaner. The main brush no longer rotates and doesn’t pick up anything. I tried the small brush and it also doesn’t rotate. I spoke to Customer Services who said I should buy a new motor (£105) I did and having fitted that it still doesn’t solve the problem. I have tried to speak to Customer Services on several occasions - each time I call they say the line is breaking up. I am SO frustrated…..
