Humidifier not humidifying

I bought a purifier + humidifier (formaldehyde version) last year and have been using the humidifier on and off, never had any issues and have been diligent with maintenance.I’m unsure what went wrong but, the humidifier is not humidifying at all, I believe the pump either broken or clogged because the few times that it has seemingly made an attempt to pump water, it has resulted in a super loud noise that persisted until I restarted the machine. The water level hasn’t decreased a single bit either, I ran 3 deep cleaning tests (with and without citric acid), no luck.I already contacted Dyson and I’m waiting for a response but I was curious to know if anybody has had a similar issue or knew how to fix it, I think the entrance of the pump is what might be clogged but I’m afraid to tamper with it since the user manuals don’t mention it.Thank you

Dyson still making filters for TP-02 purifiers?

I’m trying to buy a genuine Dyson filter for my TP-02 purifier. Dyson has been ‘out of stock’ for weeks and I can’t find a genuine replacement filter at Best Buy (or other reputable retailers). I don’t want to buy a knock off. but don’t know if I have any option. What’s going on @Dyson Community Moderator

AM07 fan

So bit of a weird one. We’ve just bought this Dyson AM07 tower fan today. Initially worked fine. Now when we turn it on, it flashed “10” for about a second, blows air in that second, then turns off again. I’ve tried it on different plugs, but no joy so far. I’ve tired to restart it by holding down the power button but nothing seems to happen. Any suggestions please?

MyDyson App in Ukraine

Hi, I recently purchased the Dyson HP09. It’s a nice product but, unfortunately, the MyDyson app is not available in Ukraine. While the product works well, having access to the app would be a valuable addition, potentially influencing my consideration of future Dyson purchases.I don’t mind if the app is in English; having it available in any language would be greatly appreciated.Are there any plans to support the MyDyson app in Ukraine? It would be great to have access to its features here.Thank you.

Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP7A Autoreact Auto mode not working?

Hi,I may be misunderstanding - but this HP7A model never seems to switch off or resume from standby when in auto mode. Should it? I press auto on the remote, there is a white letter “A” on the LCD next to the fan. The fan speed does vary depending on about of pollutants. However, it carries on indefinitely even when the pollutant level is zero. Should it not then go into standby? Also, when i do put it in standby, the manual says it continues to monitor air quality. However, it never resumes from standby unless I do it manually. Is this a fault or is something wrong with what I am doing? Note I am not running it in temperature mode - Hence it is not trying to heat/cool the room at the same time. It is just used in fan mode ONLY, and yet never seems to switch off/on automatically. This happens in a sealed room as well, with the doors closed it is only working on the air in the room.

HP07 no fan control in heat setting

Hi,Just purchased this Hot Cold purifier. I was hoping to be able to set it to maintain a set temperature while also having a set fan speed. It seems that I have no control over fan speed when I have set the thermostat even in manual mode.If I adjust fan setting in app when in manual mode and I have the temperature set to 20degrees the actual fan speed does not react to fan speed setting in app, it just stays on its lowest setting.As soon as I turn off the heat/thermostat the fan reacts to inputs.Surely in manual mode I should be able to set the fan to whatever I want and the unit switches on the element whenever it needs?Ive seen a few posts here about similar issues but I cannot work out if it’s right?Thanks

Digits not showing on Dyson Air purifier screen

My Dyson sir purifier always used to have a number on the screen on the device that would show at a quick glance what the air quality was like. If we sprayed perfume or deodorant for example the number would go up. This has now disappeared and there is just a flat green line that never moves. How do I get the number back?

little rattling sound from tower fan/filter?

I got the purifying tower fan and there's a little rattling sound coming from it, i actually exchanged my original one at the store because it started rattling after a day... this one started after about 10min, it comes and goes and is not very loud as a matter of fact i cant hear it if the tv is on, and it doesn't get louder when i turn it up…It literally sounds like the fan it lightly hitting something or is slightly off balance or th3 bearings are loose or something.... Are these supposed o do this

‘Time to Change Filter’ message received by appliance brand new!

I purchased a Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool™ Gen1 HP10 in March and have used a few times.In the app I have received a message saying it’s time to change your filter, so I a little confused.I can’t seem to find anything online to help Me.The filter was already in the appliance when I received it. I would be grateful if anyone who purchased the PH04 purifier & humidifier in the US would check the transformer’s imprint, to see if it supports the range 110-240V and 50/60Hz. That would indicate the appliance could be used both in the US and Europe. Thank you

Air Purifier Big and Quiet smell

We haven’t used it a for a few days, but turned it in today and it’s blowing out an unusual smell. it is about 4 months old. I checked filter and it doesn’t snell and looks clean, but the central part of the Air Purifier, that the filter goes on, does hold the same smell that is being blown out.can any advise what I should do?

Unable to repair my machine - just 2 months after end of warranty!

We bought a Dyson Pure Humidify+Cool a couple of years back, and the 2 years warranty just expired in March. Trying to use it for the summer this year we noticed the machine stopped working after a couple of minutes we switched this on. Troubleshooting via CS wasn’t helpful so we booked a repair - just to receive an email now that the machine cannot be repaired and we’re offered a 25% (!!!) off for a new machine. This is appalling - you’d think high technologies or a established brand like Dyson would make it better than simply telling you that the £600 you spent on their product can just go to waste after 2 years. I was happy with Dyson but I’ll never buy any of their products again. I appreciate unable to repair but offering only 25% discount is a joke.

Month Old Big+Quiet with Software Bug

Good afternoon to the community,I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction as I've tried emailing "higher up" in Dyson about a couple of other issues I've had but haven't received anything in coming up a month now.We've purchased a new Big + Quiet and as much as we love the purifier it's got a nasty software bug that seems to start sporadically then becomes permanent until the power is cut to the machine.The bug in question is in relation to the display and the ambient light sensor, after a few hours usage the LCD brightness will ramp up and stay at full brightness regardless of the ambient light, as you can imagine in night mode this defeats the objective of the mode in question.The other behaviour will be night mode will then convert to just the display being off and then when brought out of this mode the ambient light sensor still doesn't kick in so the display is at full brightness.There seems to be abit of a cloak of secrecy in relation to Dysons software update proces

Inconsistent fan speed waking up baby

Hi, I’ve had an HP03 for about a week now and we noticed an increase in the night wakes of our baby whose room we bought it for.It appears that despite setting night mode with a temperature and fan speed, once the temperature drops 1° below the set temperature the fan revs up way higher (from 1 to 4 or 5) than the set lowest setting possible. After much investigating it turns out this stark and jolting change in fan noise is what has been waking our baby. It also appears to have annoyed others on this forum and other review pages which I wish I had read before buying this machine.Why does the machine simply not run the fan at a consistent speed and turn the heating element on and off? A consistent fan speed that we choose would be less disturbing and the behavior we have had from other cheaper space heaters. We cannot use this new expensive machine for its intended purpose. When people set a fan speed, we expect the fan speed to stay at that setting - this feels pretty simple.

hp10 purifier hot and cool gen 1

Just purchased the hp10 gen 1 hot and cool. Works great ,however I have a question about the airflow.this model doesn’t have diffused air mode, on the fan opening there are grooves set back in the sides and there is a small amount of airflow coming from them when the fan is in use, either hot or cool mode.is this designed to output small amounts of air from these vents or do I have a dud? ( brand new purchase from Dyson Uk directly)any help / comments appreciated, especially from other hp10 gen 1 owners.thanks

Night Mode on HP09

When in heating mode, the night mode on my HP09 heater purifier only dims the display but it’s still very bright in a dark room. When in cooling mode & night mode is on, the display is off completely. Is there a way for night mode to turn machine display off completely when heating mode is on?

Dyson TP02 – Air quality sensor fault

I’m getting the “Air quality sensor fault” message for my TP02. The machine doesn’t get any temperature or humidity level reading. This doesn’t allow me to turn the machine into the ‘AUTO’ mode from the app. This is a new machine, I just activated the warranty. The problem is very similar to the one described in this post earlier. I tried all the recommended steps:Turning the machine on and off. Reinstalling the MyDyson app. Removing the machine from the app and adding it back. Returning the machine to it’s factory state.None of these steps helped. I brought my machine to the Certified Dyson Service Center and they weren’t able to help! According to them, they replaced the sensor but the problem didn’t go away “which means that the problem was with the software, not the hardware”. Dyson reference number: 9141096472.

Dyson PH3 Humidifier Sensor for humidity in room faulty on 5 machines

We are beside ourselves on how to get the PH3 Humidifier to work. Dyson has now sent us 5 replacement machines in last couple months. None of them are reading the humidity in our rooms correctly. All show 74-77 percent. Thus, no water leaves their tanks. Customer Service can’t fix the issue with hours of phone calls. We think they have bad sensors. How can this many new machines have same problem? We run it on Auto and tried off Auto. Pressed remote and power button 10 seconds for countdown to reset, updated software via app, removed water tanks and reinserted, checked if wet at cap above water tank (yes). What is wrong with these?
