Looking for tech support for an HP-04 unit.Just purchased from someone who usedit a handful of times. It worked the first day andthen the dreaded 'exclamation point' displayed.Tried the remote power button while turning the uniton for 10 seconds and the night feature as well for 5 seconds.Still no good.
Hi, our purifier is in the nursery which has a furniture set producing voc constantly. The room is about 12 m2. The air quality always show fair and goes down very slowly. The purifier has been on for 24 hrs now and the voc level went from mid fair to lower fair only. I was wondering how long does it take for the machine to purify the air? The room is isolated- door and windows are close. Thanks

We have a Dyson Pure Cool in our little bedroom. The machine is only 2 years old and always shows severe for air quality. We just bought a new filter for it but still shows the same. See above. It seems that either a) the machine is unable to accurately gauge the air quality or b) it is unable to clean the room. Please advise what we should do. We’re both working professionals and don’t have time to run around to Dyson repair shops. We’ve done this with our Dyson vacuum which seems to break every other month. (Unfortunately haven’t had much luck with this company). Thanks in advance.

Hi All - I purchased a PH04 humidifier/purifier at the beginning of this year, and it has been a huge headache for me. I normally wouldn’t complain but with the amount of money I spent I think I deserve a better result. I am currently on my 4th unit - each one has after 3 developed a relatively loud high pitch buzzing noise, that I think can most accurately be described as comparable to the sound a cicada (more like 1,000 cicadas) makes. I use the purifier as a fan/humidifier overnight night in my bedroom, and the sound occasionally becomes loud enough to wake me up. It is most definitely not normal operation, because the fan makes an acceptable amount of noise for several weeks up to a few months before it starts happening. 2 of the units replaced outright right away, and the third one I sent to the repair center where it was found to be unrepairable and replaced again. The air quality in my room, according to my sensor, has been fluctuating very dramatically and I am wondering if this happens to other people, if there is something wrong with my sensor, or if I just have a serious air quality problem? Hi, My trusty old HP00 Pure Hot + Cool unit is showing an ‘E’ fault notification while attempting to put it into auto mode. I’ve not been able to find any information on an ‘E’ code. Can anyone assist please? (Edited by moderator – tags added)

I replaced the filters on my air purifier with heat but it's still showing I need to replace them. I have unplugged and plugged back in to no avail.
This is my second purifier TP09, as I returned and replaced the original due to the intermittent high pitch squealing sound that it produces and now the 2nd model is doing the same thing. I've researched the community as well as a few other online communities and it concerns me that many people have this same issue and it has not really been addressed as to why and what is the cause. I do not want to visit a repair center as I've stated that is my 2nd machine and therefore it's not an isolated issue.It seems to me that there is a flaw in the design that is not being addressed. It doesn't make sense why it works perfectly fine until it doesn't. If I change the setting from Auto to a number less than 7 I can hear the high pitch sound loudly, 7 - 10 and it can not be heard that much due to the wind speed overpowering however that is not an appropriate sound level to hear all day and after running at that speed for long enough the high pitch starts up again.Many people are attempting t
Hello everyone,I am Carl and I live in London and, obviously, the air quality is often very poor. I have an air filtering system that is rather good but not good enough when I go to sleep. That is why I am considering a Dyson air purifierAlso, I cannot bear the heat, and would need an AC. But, as I live in a flat, I cannot install an AC system for our increasingly hot summers. I considered a portable one but my windows are all floor to ceiling and opening in a way that I cannot find any portable AC compatible with my windows or doors. I have fans but they require I open the windows or it becomes too hot, and it’s only a small difference, a breeze of air that is pleasant because it’s a breeze.As I also need a proper air purifier in my room, I decided to check if the Dyson Purifier HEPA Cool (WiFi) could do both jobs without the need of opening the windows during the night, and waking up to the lovely noise of traffic and construction sites. Hi I have the Dyson in our bedroom and noticed we had very high VOC levels from 10pm onwards until we got up in the morning. We took away a memory foam mattress topper and then for the next few night it was on green. Since then it has spiked in the early hours of the morning around 4am then comes down. What could be causing this? Our room also shows very high humidity which is over 70 every evening. Yesterday we used a dehumidifier and it came down but there was still a spike in the VOC reading. Does the humidity of the room affect it?We also notice that if anyone has a shower or bath the VOC reading will go up is this normal? Thank you Jenny
I am trying to run a deep clean cycle but the timer is stuck on 56:20 with flashing orange button and sometimes the time moves to a lower number (example 55:15) but then jumps to a higher number (example 57:10)I removed the water tank and dried the top. When I replaced the water tank it did count down 4 seconds from 56:24 to 56:20 and then stopped again.(Edited by moderator – Tags added and converted to Question)
I've had the Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Link for about 6 yrs now and have been putting up with a low to medium pitch motor whine at fan speeds slower than level 3. While it is tolerable in a large siiting room or during the day when I'm awake, it is annoying during the night when used in the bedroom and the fan drops to the low speeds in Auto which causes interrupted sleep.Please listen to these audio recordings on my Google drive and advise if this is normal. We lost our remote and Dyson are out of stock. Is it possible to change settings from heat to cool without the remote. When I turn the machine on it just blows hot air and there doesn’t seem to be anywhere to change it over? Can anyone help explain please?
Now the price of electricity in the UK has risen steeply I am finding the Dyson Pure Hot+Cool™ purifier fan heater very expensive to run! The heater warms the room a few degrees higher than requested then the cooling fan cuts in to cool the room down. The fan is quite cold when this happens! So the machine is constantly running - making it expensive to run. It would have been better to heat the room to the temp requested and only start heating again when the room temp drops same for the cooling fan.
Been using the hot & cool formaldehyde for months, daily with no issues but out of nowhere it started emitting a chemical like odour. Similar to the smell of permanent marker ink. I didn't pick up where it was coming from for a day or so but determined its definitely from the machine after having it off for a period. My filter is still at least 90% but has it taken in something unusual and been compromised? I don't use chemicals around the machine, the only thing I can think of is maybe some spray hand sanitiser being used in an adjacent room which causes the VOC to rise as I walk past. It doesn't smell spoiled or rancid in any way, but is headache inducing. I've stopped using immediately on realising the issue. (Edited by moderator – Tags added and moved to ‘Air quality’ forum)
I have recently purchased the Dyson HEPA Purifier TP09 Formaldehyde Purifying Fan.Unfortuantley I have a room that has quite a bit of mold. The purfier that is in the room says that the air in the room is good.Should the purfier be detecting that the room has mold?Or does it only detect the mold when you disturb it (clean it). Be grateful for any advice.Thanks
Purchased a Dyson PH02 Pure Humidity + Cool in December, 2021. Shortly after, I noticed that the water reservoir wasn’t going down, indicating that the air wasn’t humidifying. After working with multiple Dyson Customer Service techs who appeared not to know what they were doing, they finally agreed for me to get a new replacement model for my defective one. Because Dyson had no PH02 models in stock, they sent me a replacement PH04 Pure Humidifier + Cool Formaldehyde model. Very shortly after getting the replacement, a warning appeared on the Dyson Link App that the pump was no longer working. Then I was told I would have to wait 5 weeks for a new pump because they were out of stock. Told Dyson this was unacceptable as I needed the humidifier before the end of the winter when it would no longer be needed. I am now on my 3rd humidifier and now worrying that I got an expensive “dud” that may be prone to pump problems. I’ve seen similar pump problem comments on the various internet forums.
I have been using the new TP09 Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde in my living room for about 3 months now. It now has a filter life of 91% but is already blowing out unpleasant rancid smell. It however still indicates that the air quality in my living room within the green zone or the auto target range. I place an open bottle of pure lemongrass essential oil in my house with the intention of killing germs. Is this the cause of the rancid smell? What should I do? Do I need to replace the HEPA filter now? (Edited by moderator – tags added)
it a 3 months old unit and was connected with wifi and can be controlled on the dyson app before until a week ago we use the cool fan it over night with the timer on. The next day we cannot find it on the app and the wifi is animating, i keep on trying to connect to the wifi as per troubleshoot instructions, it say “Connection Issue we’re having problems connecting your machine to the Wi-Fi network”
