Exchange complaiant

Unfortunately this comment is not a positive one for Dyson. After previously purchasing the Dyson vinca rose airwrap in December 2022 I decided to buy the matching Corrale straightener March 2023. Up until August of 2024 I had no real issue with the corrale other than general slight dissatisfaction of the heating element, then this summer the Corrale stopped charging/ powering completely. Due to working away, I recently spoke to Dyson about resolving the issue. Initially they were helpful and with some trial and error and troubleshooting I was satisfied with being told I would receive an exchange. I awaited the email confirming the exchange ,which I received, but never received a confirmed delivery date and ID. I spoke to the chat box once more and was told to package the Dyson in all its original packaging for the exchange. It was the DPD delivery service text informing me they would be there within the hour (a few days after) that was the first indication of any exchange date/time. T

counterfeit dyson product

 I am a 57 year old woman who has always bought and enjoyed the superior dyson hair care products. I bought my first dyson product in November of 2021, the Special edition Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer (Prussian blue/rich copper). I was so impressed i bought all 3 of my daughters the same product at a cost of well over £1200 for all 4 products. I then went on to purchase the dyson airwrap long, the dyson corrale straightener and just recently the Dyson Airstrait™ straightener.I have waist length straight hair which I wash and dry just once a week and using the dyson hairdryer means I can dry my hair with no damage in just 10 minutes. Last month I went to use th hairdryer ut tp my surprise nothing happened the machine was dead. My husband changed the fuse but it still would not work.I contacted Dyson and because my 2 year warranty had expired my machine was not covered. I was told however that if I paid £100 pounds they would collect my machine and repair or replace it. I thought this wa

Loving my new Dyson AirStrait but looking for tips to optimise my thin, fine hair

I’ve only had it for a few days, but love how easy the AirStrait is to use, and the variety of settings, including hairdryer!  Unfortunately with my thin, fine shoulder length slightly wavy hair, I may have been expecting too much from it (especially for the price), but was hoping that it would make my hair look sleeker, and remain that way before going back to the “fluffy” look once I go outside.  I do have creams, sprays etc, but any advice on how to optimise this tool to get real value gratefully received.  I’m currently within the 45 day trial period :-)

Anyone else struggling with the new supersonic R Blow dryer??

I’ve had the supersonic R since July 2024 and have not been able to get used to the size, shape or weight. I really want to love it, but it hasn’t been all that I thought it would be. I’d love to hear what other people think?

corrale straightener is terrible

I am absolutely disgusted with the quality of  Dyson straighteners. I have only had mine 2.5 years and the battery has been slowly dying and now holds a charge for a whopping minute! I had a ‘chat’ with Dyson last week who told me my only option is to take it to a service center - the nearest of which is at least an hour from my house. They were also unable to tell me how long a battery replacement for a coral straightener would take or how much it would cost - this should be fairly well known at this point with the number of people that have this issue although it seems that not even Dyson can get it right as half the people say the battery can be replaced and half say that it can’t be. Which is it??? Having already spent a considerable amount of money to buy it in the first place, I am not prepared to waste any more money on this product. Smoothing attachment for refurbished airwrap complete

I have just purchased a refurbished airwrap from Dyson eBay store.   The only attachment not included was the Smoothing flyaway attachment.     I have been told that it is not compatible with Dyson Airwrap™ styler Complete (Nickel/Fuchsia) - Refurbished, Model 310725-04 but I also read that all attachments fit any airwrap.    Can anyone clarify please as now I don't know whether to buy the attachment or return the airwrap 🤔

fraud

I placed an order on September 3rd. Haven’t received my hairdryer till today which is October 5th. Two days ago my credit card was charged again for the same amount. I tried to get in touch with customer service and it’s been a nightmare! Nobody is able to tell me when my hairdryer will be shipped. I am wondering if they will charge my credit card every month now?

non Delivery

I ordered four items from Dyson hair care range and two have been delivered successfully. The other two items have not turned up annd apparently they are at my local post office. I have no card … I have rung several times and been promised replacements and now I have to drive down the motorway for an hour to collect them  from Exeter. How is this local how can I get the parcel without a card on Tuesday last I was promised  replacements within 23 hours well that was a lie …. Apparently tonight it is up to me to sort this out … and apparently I am rude and have been warned and am threatening. I am a small lady with spaniels trying to get my order to my house Dyson if you read this you are so rude, you lie and do not follow through on what you said  I cannot drive to Exeter as it is why too far …. Just send me the goods  really really annoyed and frustrated will be writing a letter of compliant  on Monday is there anything else I can do ….

serious help need!

Hello, I really need help to solve this situation.I’m a professional hairstylist in NY. I have two Dyson hairdryer. I retuned both hairdryers to repair / replace this April. I got one couple weeks later but I haven’t received another one. I contacted customer service many times. I gave them my information serial number, copy of return label as much as i can.but they keep saying we need time to research what happened this. And no response. I had same conversation 4time. Even supervisor said same.its been almost 7 month since I returned hairdryer.I have no idea what should I do.please let me know if someone has same situation and how to solve this.Thank you !

Worst customer service

I bought a hair dryer on december 2023. On september 5 I contacted customer service because the blower stop working. At first they gave me some instructions to follow I did it but didn't work. Then I contacted them  again but they told me that my case would be escalated and someone would reach me out on 24hrs. No one contacted me . I wrote to customer services and the person that was assisting me told me that we would started with a replacement process but suddenly they said that someone would contact me, that my case was escalated because the cases of "this Island" referring to Puerto Rico were worked by other team. Days passed and again I wrote to them and they told me the same that my case was escalated and referred to PR team that I need to wait. I gave them another day and again contacted them , but now they were asking for my evidence of purchase and the same script that my case was escalated . I contacted them  again on september 13 and they told me that my case was referred to

Disappointing Experience with Hairdryer and Customer Service

I was initially thrilled with my Dyson hair dryer. It performed beautifully, drying my hair quickly and leaving it shiny and smooth. However, just 16 months after purchase, it unexpectedly stopped working. It won’t turn on.  I only used it twice a week.Disappointedly, when I reached out to Dyson for warranty support, I was told that my serial number is registered under someone else's name. This is shocking since my unit was brand new and not refurbished. I never imagined that I would face such an issue, especially from a brand that I thought was professional.  I own various Dyson hair products and a vacuum.    I am deeply disappointed in Dyson's warranty process and lack of support for loyal customers. I had high expectations for this product and the company, and it’s frustrating to be left without resolution.Dyson needs to improve their customer service policies to better support genuine customers in the future.  I will not be a future customer after this experience. How is it safe to dry hair at110°C and 140°C using the Airstrait when water boils at 100°C ?

The wet modes temperature settings are above the boiling temperature of water. I’m wondering whether the water in the hair strand boils and damages the hair when using the 110°C and 140°C settings. My hair has a lot more ‘bubbles’ after using the Airstrait. I think this is because of the high temperatures I’ve been using to dry my hair..

Raise a complaint

I have been trying to get my airwrap collected but to no avail, I finally arranged for it to be done today and have waited in all day - no collection.Contact customer service to be told there's an issue with the date and DPD will be in touch again, they weren't in touch before!Upon checking this is a tactic used by Dyson Customer Service for collections and a lot of people never have their items collected.I purchased the item from Dyson in August last year, so guess what I can't even go to original retailer 😂.I'm also dealing with a very ill husband at the moment so this stress isn't helpful.All I want is my airwrap to be repaired or replaced, it's not as if they're cheap enough to go out and buy each year.Can someone please help me

NEVER BUY FROM DYSON

I got the dark clue supersonic hair dryer just over two years ago, but didn’t start using the dryer itself until this year. By this past summer (2024), my hair dryer stopped working. Why should a $400 hair dryer die after such short use? Of course the warranty ran out, so no one cares about my problem. I first contacted support through online chat, with no help. I emailed support three times and got no Emil back. So, I then called to speak to someone about troubleshooting my machine. The service worker was unable to help fix my machine and said she would send me an email on where to go from there. I received the email it stated I would have to take my machine to the nearest service center, which happened to be 1 hour and 30 minutes away. My family made the drive with me. We sat at the center for over an hour while the worker tried to fix my machine, only to be told he couldn’t fix it. The highlight of that trip was him telling us the machine shouldn’t have just broke like that, it was

Air wrap

Unfortunately buying dyson air wrap is a mistake for me . I do travel and I thought it is going to make my life easier but it makes harder. In every country  buy another Dyson. Is this the policy ? You are an intelligent company and do not have any other adopter or something to make work Dyson on different countries.  So my brought my  Dyson air wrap with me in us and not working. Another think Dyson customer service is really poor. They do not know their product and company. 👎

My dyson airstrait is not turning on. I have pressed the test button then the reset button showed red circle and i pressed it then yellow led sparked and my airstrait is not starting from that time. What could be the reason?? Did anyone face same thing?

faulty dyson and horrific customer service

I bought a Dyson airwrap (long) as an investment piece into the care of my hair and initially it was great however within 15 months of ownership my Dyson became faulty.  It lost power, was becoming far too hot and sounded excessively loud like it was going to take off when turned on. I was frightened this would go on fire so stopped using it. I immediately contacted Dyson with photos and they advised me they would book a repair, I was given a date in April when this would be collected but couldn’t be given a time and as a result sat waiting in all day and no one turned up. I continued to try and contact Dyson and eventually had another repair booked for August (at this point now being 4 months without my Dyson due to its fault), this repair was cancelled by Dyson a few days before it was due. I have now contacted customer service numerous times and can’t get anywhere with a repair, this was an investment piece for me and I cannot afford to buy another one! I spoke to customer service t

Ack! Help! My Airwrap is changing color!! Pink to Blue!

Warning the official Dyson Airwrap travel case - dyes your device blue!!My airwrap is beginning to look like Violet Beauregarde from “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory”!  It’s like when you wear new jeans and the indigo dye starts to stain your hands. Black and blue velvet carry case with pink ribbons (~$50) purchased from the Dyson website has permanently dyed the beautiful matte pink on my ceramic pop airwrap blue. I have been on many Dyson forums this week to see if I can find a cleaning solution for this, but have struck out. So instead want to warn others with a pink matte painted components that the official Dyson travel carry case will dye that component blue. DO NOT BUY AN AIRWRAP

I am utterly shocked and disappointed at the appalling customer service and quality of Dyson products. I bought my first Dyson product, my airwrap, on my birthday. It was a huge purchase for me. After months of use, it broke with no real explanation. I cared for it as instructed but in the end, put it down to it being potentially a one-off faulty machine. Dyson replaced it after informing me it could not be repaired. In a matter of months, the new machine then broke with exactly the same issues. After having parted with £500, I was shocked that these machines clearly aren’t fit for purpose. I have lost my patience with the airwrap and have requested a refund, not another machine as Dyson have been trying to say is my only option. I don’t want a THIRD machine, I want my hard earned money back. I just had my third phone call on this issue with the Dyson customer service staff. The first lady didn’t seem to understand my query. Repair/DPD issue/Customer Service Issue

Hi allHas anyone else had trouble with sending items back via DPD?I called customer service on 14th September as my three month old Dyson Corrale straighteners were coming up with an overheating error.  CS said they would arrange for collection and repair but the earliest DPD could collect would be 27th September.  I asked if there was anything I should do (i.e. pop them in the original box etc) they stated “no just hand them to the driver”.DPD didn’t arrive on 27th September (they kept me informed) and eventually a driver arrived on Sunday 29th.  When I answered the door he just said DPD so I gave him my straighteners which were in their box and he went to his van with them, coming back with a receipt. I thought that was that but then he handed me a huge box (I could probably fit in!).  I asked what it was but unfortunately English was not his first language and he just shrugged.  I took the box in, opened it up and inside found a returns label for Dyson!
