The Blade Concentrator vs The Blade Concentrator Iron

What are the differences (in design, functionality, application, and end result) of The Blade Concentrator and The Blade Concentrator Iron? These two new attachments seem to have (per the website) the same description,  pictures, instructions… What are the advantages and disadvantages of each? Thanks!

anyone else get terrible quality with the new Dyson id airwrap?

I recently bought a new air wrap for my wife, she had the second Gen one and I wanted to upgrade. We got the new one in and the head was crooked, the paint was chipping and the attachments did not want to connect. So we did what you are supposed to do and file a warranty claim, they shipped a new one and I verified with the serial number. However it had the same flaws except the paint wasn't chipping this time it had a scratch on it and the packaging looked like someone had just thrown it together instead of actually packaging it. I will be returning this but I was just curious if anyone else had these issues.

stop working

Hi I had my Dyson for 3 months and while I dry my hair it stops till it cools down. Is it normal ? i sent an  email to Dyson but they didn’t answer

sent five blow dryers and company blames me the last one stopped working before two years

First brought blow dryer  just stopped working (should of known) next two had smoke problems, don’t use heat on hair  and forth blow dryer what electric problem so they sent me current one 7/19/2023 but this company warranty doesn’t follow this one didn’t make it to two years. For me to fix it 400.00. Save your money Shark has a great machine. I am done I’ll never buy Dyson products again. That’s their customer service care? God bless

How do you reactivate the bluetooth on Dyson Airwrap i.d.? The instructions do not work...

I unboxed today my new Aiwrap i.d. I was really excited about it. I easily connected to MyDyson app and created my profile. Then, I dried my hair. This time, I did not want to use the cone, just the brush. Then, I wanted to use the cone for the hair around the face. So, I open the app and saw that the styler was not connected to bluetooth. The blue light on the styler was blinking very slowly. I did not found the instructions that said to exit the app and open it again. Instead, I deactivated the bluetooth. Now, it’s impossiible to activate it anymore! I did follow the instructions, which are the same for deactvating it, but no success. I arrive until the bluetooth light blinks fast but then, even if I do the last step (keeping the on/off button to the top) the bluetooth light just go off again. I alo tried to connect the airstyle while the light was blinking fast, but it did not work. Can you please help me? I am afraid I’ll never sort it out and I do not want to get it back. Thank yo

supersonic not so super

I bought a Dyson supersonic at Best Buy for around $500, which outside of my car, was the biggest purchase of my life. I bought the Dyson because it was supposed to be the best. I have babied this hair dryer as if it was a part of my family. The warranty says it's for 2 years, and today, 2 years and 3 months later, the dryer just stopped working. (Good job Dyson on timing it so that your products work just up until your warranty runs out, and then your customers need to buy another one - guaranteed recurring revenue stream!) I have tried every possible troubleshooting suggestion. Still no power. Why does such an expensive product suddenly break down right after the warranty ends??? Why is it made so poorly yet costs so much? I am forever disappointed that something so simple - the power supply - just stops working in its tracks. No warning. By the way, the dryer has been so well cared for (regular cleaning and maintenance of the filter, for example), it looks brand new. My guess is thi

Dyson Airwrap Id not pairing with dyson app, please help

Hi, I just got my Dyson Airwrap id yesterday and im having trouble getting it to connect to the app. It will find it using bluetooth but when it goes to pair it just doesnt do anything. It tells me to lift the power button up and then release. Which I do and nothing happens. Ive tried deleting the app and reinstalling, making sure my bluetooth is on, and ive tried unplugging and replugging the device. Does anyone know how to fix this?

syling with dyson air wrap

When styling my hair I love how the curls turn out but around the top of my head I get a lot of fly aways once I’ve curled my hair. Has anyone got any tips to stop this? Thank you 😊

Dyson Corrale

I received the Corrale as a Christmas gift. After only 4-5 uses, it stopped charging completely. No light showing when plugged in, no charging indicator. Nothing. I went through the troubleshooting instructions and thought the cord may be the issue so I purchased a new cord. And still nothing. I contacted customer support using the chat and was told to visit a service center. The closest one is over an hour from me. When I mentioned that, I was told visiting the service center was the only option. This is so not worth the cost. And because it was a gift, I have no proof of purchase.Based on other posts, this looks to be a common problem (though most seem to get more than 4-5 uses). I have a Dyson hair dryer and never had issues. So disappointed with the Corrale.

hairdryer keeps shutting off!

I’ve had my Dyson hairdryer for 3 years and recently it keeps shutting off while I’m drying my hair. It’s not over heating and the filter is clean. For the price I’d expect it to last longer than 3 years. What should I do?

Beware of Dyson’s Shady Return Practices – My Nightmare Experience

I want to share my frustrating and shocking experience with Dyson in case anyone else is dealing with similar issues—or to warn those considering a purchase.Here’s what happened: January 17 – I received my Dyson Airwrap after purchasing it directly from Dyson. February 3 – After using it for a few days, I realized it was defective, so I requested a return and exchange. Dyson provided a return label for the process. February 10 – I shipped the unit back using the label they provided, and it was delivered to Dyson’s warehouse. March 4 & March 7 – Their customer service confirmed they received my return and told me to wait for a replacement. Sounds fine so far, right? Well, here’s where things get ridiculous.Instead of sending my replacement, Dyson support suddenly changed their story. Airwrap, really unimpressive for nearly £500. Customer service worst of any company I've dealt with

I purchased this “luxury” device for my wife about a year ago. It has failed every 6 months and require returning to Dyson. This time however we had an exchange instead of a repair. When the exhange happened they told us to send everything back, and in exchange we got just the machine, none of the attachments that were included in our premium product. I have now been stuck on repeat loop of compain/hope to get a call back/no call back/complain for the past 3 weeks. Nothing has been done. Finally after my 4th call I was told they will send the attachments, but they are not in stock, and I’ll need to call back when they are to order them.Horrible service. We’ve had to go out and buy shark variant of this machine because in all this time my wife hasn’t had her “luxury hair style” that I forked out nearly £500 in the hope it’d be something special for her.Actually while I’m here...the airwrap itself was pretty average too...styles rarely held for very long and it was cumbersome to use.

Poor Customer Service Complaint

I’ve been trying to have Dyson custom service replace a hairdryer I bought this year that was not working since Jan 2025. A customer service agent agreed to do the exchange for me over the phone and gave me an email for me to send them the purchase receipt. After I email the receipt, the customer service just ghosted me (like really???)I’ve sent a few follow up emails and made a few calls but got no response.  No one responded to my emails and people over the phone has been telling me that they escalated the situation and I should hear back within a week but I NEVER heard back from anybody.I’m disappointed with the customer service experience and I want the machine to be replaced immediately.

EU Airwrap in the US - solution needed!

Hi there,can @dyson please provide a customer centric solution to safely use a EU Dyson in countries with different Voltage/Wattage/Power Outlets! (‚& US, UK etc. in EU, Asia, etc.)Looking at the amount of threads about this topic I believe it’s a opportunity for Dyson to truly delight customers!I‘m utterly disappointed that there’s no official converter/ adapter recommended that makes our precious Airwrap work when travelling, working abroad. In some countries you have +30 days of holiday & remote work is here to stay - it’s a Zeitgeist Lifestyle topic you seriously should take into consideration!How about partnering up with converter/adapter manufacturer and create an add-on product (as beautiful and practical like the Airwrap) and offering this to your customers? OR for sustainability reasons offer a rental service in your stores?Having said that, can any success stories about using your EU Airwrap in the US be shared with name and model or link to the exact adapter / conver

Dyson repair exchange nightmare full of frustration

My Dyson hair dryer had an issue and Dyson service center took in my dryer and told me that I will get an exchange within 5-7 business days. It has been my third month. I called the customer service every two weeks and every time I called they just repeat I will receive my exchange in 5-7 business days. They put me on hold for 40-60 mins just to get that information. I am so frustrated. What should I do?

Replacement disaster

Received replacement authorizationJan 27, 2025 for defective airwrapJan 28, 2025 UPS Drop off Package ReceiptJan 31, 2025 UPS tracking verification delivered to Dyson El Paso, TX after multiple phone calls and chats, Dyson has not replaced the airwrap stating many excuses including: they never received the  item in their warehouse, then said they received a Big Ball Vacuum, then said they received hair Dryer etc.   UPS claims no liability as box was delivered  I used the serial number as attached to the unit for the exchange, the label provided by Dyson and shipped from a UPS store.  My lengthly calls result in no resolution.  I am told Dyson will escalate and get a resolution, but after several weeks, I have no resolution.  I have used many Dyson products and have gifted several.  I don’t know what to do at this point as contacts with Dyson have proven futile  i asked Dyson to return the unit that I sent, but Dyson said they can’t do that as they don’t know what I sent. My last resort

stains on new pink airstrait

I’ve tried contacting support multiple times, but the Dysons app and website are awful and I keep getting disconnected. I’ve tried alcohol wipes and bleach, which have helped a ton, but it’s still stained.  Only used the airstrait once and placed it in my Dyson travel bag, which stained it dark. The photo makes it look much better than it does IRL. I’ve seen people bring up this topic on the forum and got help from Dysons reps, but I don’t actually know how they fixed the issue. I have a Dyson airwrap, regular blow dryer, and air purifier fan, but I’m really disappointed with Dysons customer support and also just the design of this material of the airwrap

Hallo, ich verstehe nicht wie keiner sich hier beschwert das die verbesserten Aufsätze von den Airwrap seit 2 Jahren ausverkauft sind. Immer wird man vertröstet das man es nicht genau weiß. Allerdings ist nach 2 Jahren anzunehmen das da nichts mehr reinkommt und die nur wollen das man sich das neue Gerät kauft . Wenn sie mal die Option endlich mal löschen würden das es wieder lieferbar ist . Das ist sehr schlimm die Kunden hier so hinzuhalten und offensichtlich blöd zu stellen!!!Also so ein furchtbares Unternehmen wünscht man nur den Untergang!!!Wieso beschwert sich darüber keiner????

horrible experience

I have been using my dyson blow dryer for a month.  Suddenly it started smelling like a burning smell and the lights started flashing.  It would no longer turn on.  I called for support and the lady explained that since I did not have an invoice (it was a gift) it will not be covered by warranty.  I asked to speak with management and the lady kept telling me she could not get a hold of her and could not promise that management will call me back.  THis is absolutely crazy.  How do I escalate a complaint to Dyson?  Why is the serial number not sufficient enough for this to be covered.

type G plug how to change to type C - Airstrait

Hello, I bought the product thinking that I could use it with a type C converter in Türkiye because the airstrait I bought from Dubai was type G. However, the adapter part causes a contact problem in the socket while I am doing my hair and the dyson turns itself off. What is your definitive solution suggestion for such a scenario?
