How can you travel abroad with Dyson Airwrap?

I live in the US and have a Dyson Airwrap that I purchased here two years ago. The warrantee has already expired at this point. Anyway, I am traveling to Asia to the countries that use 220v. I have been trying to find information about how to bring my Airwrap and use it oversea but there are many conflicted and unclear information on the internet. I even called the expert and asked the store manager but all of them couldn’t give confirm and clear information of how I can or can not use the machine oversea and what would be the solution for people who travel. It just doesn’t make sense how a personal care product can’t be travelled to another countries however I understand about the voltage difference. So I really need to get a clear answer for two questions.Can I use the machine with the voltage converter?What if I buy a new one in Asia that is for 220v, can I use it when I travel to other countries that use the same voltage 220v? (Understand about the warrantee but my question is just

Supersonic hair dryer stopped working

The first time I used the hair dryer it runs for about 5-10 seconds then just cuts out, and takes a while before it will start again then cuts out again, anyone else have this issue?  (Edited by moderator – Tag added)

Airwrap - white flashing light after cleaning but only on the brush attachments

Someone please help!!My airwrap white light keeps flashing, I clean it regularly & always seems to happen when using the brush attachment. Anyone have this problem?  (Moderation edit - Tags Added/ Title Updated)

Help - My curls not lasting - Ideas/Suggestions welcome!

Help! I have had my air wrap for almost a year now and I have not cracked the code. I have fine thick hair and and trying to get the gorgeous curls I see everyone else having. The dyson curls look great at fist but never hold more than 30 min. I have tried pinning them up and a multitude of different products trying to get them to last. How do I get the multi day curls everyone is talking about? I am about to give up since currently my $10 curling iron is creating a better longer lasting curl than my $650 dyson.

Airwrap - HELP Red Flashing Light

I have had the Dyson airwrap for a year and around a month ago the red flashing light started to come on. I regularly clean the filter but the airwrap overheats and turns off, after the flashing light turns on. I have followed the steps for filter cleaning but nothing is working and I’m super frustrated :( (Edited by moderator – Tags added)

When using the Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler, there are two key reasons curls can sometimes drop out prematurely.Trying to style hair that’s already dry. Using the wrong barrel for your hair type, which may prevent a firm and lasting hold.In both cases, curls can end up loosening and dropping out more quickly than expected. Thankfully, our team of dedicated hair care experts have come to the rescue with their Golden Rules for curling with the Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler, which should help you achieve a longer lasting curls. Our initial advice would be -Always begin with damp hair, and then make sure your curled hair is completely dry before you switch off. Dyson hair dryer keeps shutting off

My hair dryer turns on for seconds and then shuts off. I have checked and cleaned the filter, there are no issues with the cord or outlet. I store the dryer in a safe, cool place. I purchased my Dyson hair dryer 3 years ago and in the last month I can’t use it to dry my hair due to the constant shutting off. This should last more than 3 years.

Dyson Airwrap Abroad - Japan vs US

Hello, I am traveling to Japan for an extended time, but live in the US. I am looking to buy a dyson air wrap to have with me in both places. I was wondering if it would be better for me to buy in Japan (slightly lower voltage than US), and use that one or buy in US and use that one.

Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler - How I get my curls to stay on fine, straight hair

I have very long, straight, fine hair. I definitely had a difficult time getting the airwrap to work for me at first. If you’re feeling the same way, here’s what worked for me! Get the 0.8” barrel! This has made a huge difference for me. The 1.2” barrel left me with very loose waves/body after it relaxes. Basically there would just be some curl at the ends. It looked pretty, but it wasn’t what I was going for. I get much tighter, longer lasting curls with the 0.8”.    To avoid weighing down my hair etc. I  only prepped my hair with 2 products. I used a It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-in Lite as a heat protectant/leave-in moisturizer in the ends. Then I used a Tresemme Extra Hold Volumizing Mousse all over my hair.    I use the smoothing dryer to rough dry my roots. Then I used the soft smoothing brush to dry my mid-shafts and ends so they’re not soaking wet. The hair should still be damp.    I prefer to curl my hair using the Mermaid Waves technique.  I divide my hair into 4 sections (top/bott

My airwrap keeps cutting out and flashing red

I have had my air wrap for about 3 year and I have been maintaining it by cleaning the filter with the brush provided and cleaning any hair/debris from the attachments as described online.  Despite this my airwrap is now continually cutting out when I use it and flashing red. Any help? Does anyone know of anywhere I can have it serviced or something along those lines?

Dyson Airwrap - US model doesn’t work in Europe (Azerbaijan)

Hi everybody. Husband purchased for me Dyson Airwrap from US and we live in Azerbaijan. So i cannot use it here, because my dyson is not working here. Assistant from website advised to use it with universal voltage adapter. I bought Samsonite adapter from US also, but it doesn’t work with adapter also. What can I do? I would like to change it to Europe model in Turkey, but assistant from Turkey said that, they cannot do it because US warranty is not available in Turkey. What to do?

Airwrap shuts off - terrible customer service

Terrible customer service.  My airwrap just shuts off every 10 seconds and their response is to buy a new one!!  I spent $600 and it only last 2-½ years!!!  Terrible terrible customer service - I am so mad that I made a horrible investment!!!!!

How do I use the Airwrap on my Frizzy/Curly hair?SPOTLIGHTED POST

Hey everyone! I got an Airwrap last month. Have been struggling for over an hour daily trying to make it work with my hair.I started off with wet hair, like recommended. I use a frizz free products and leave in conditioner.Instead of my curls holding, they immediately started dropping out - I even used hairspray to set them in place. I use the hairdryer attachment, firm smoothing brush and finish with the smaller barrel to set my hair.Following a recommendation from a girl at my gym, I tried only the firm smoothing brush, used the coldshot to set my hair and completing with hair spray. My curls lasted a few hours, which was better but still not all day.My question is, will I ever get the Dyson to work on my hair?

Dyson Airwrap Filter - Cleaning

Hey, so I have the Dyson Airwrap and I always clean the filter with the brush that it provides to clean it with whenever the light starts blinking. Lately it’s just blinks no matter how much I try to clean it. Yes, I do remove the filter to clean it. Any tips on how to clean it better or is it just my Airwrap that is damaged? Are we allowed to wet the filter lol

Airwrap Styler Long - How do I store?

I ordered an Air Wrap Styler Long by accident. It’s fine, but how in the heck are the attachments supposed to fit in the storage case? The wrap attachments are too long to stand up. Do the brushes stand up in the corners and everything else just gets unceremoniously jammed into the middle compartment? This seems uncharacteristically disordered for a Dyson product. :-(

Dyson hair dryer stopped working/has no power - Help!

Have had hair dryer just over two years. Yesterday, it wouldn’t turn on. No sign of any issues before that. I love the dryer, but won’t spend that much money again for a product that only lasted two years. Straighteners don't hold charge - What can I do?

I bought my wife some Dyson straighteners 2 years ago for Christmas and she uses them every day. Even using them in hybrid mode they no longer hold a charge long enough for her to finish straightening her hair.It seems that the battery can no longer hold enough charge for them to be usable, so how do we get a new battery installed as it's a sealed unit?Also the fact that when plugged in 'in hybrid mode' the unit can't get enough power to operate is a major oversight.

Dyson Airwrap purchased in USA doesn’t work in Europe - What can I do?

 Hello. I have bought dyson from USA, but it doesn’t work in my country, Azerbaijan. And dyson(USA) doesn’t recommend to use converter because my machine will be damaged with converter and they directed me to Turkey team.I talked to the Turkey dyson team they said I can use converter and they can’t arrange exchange. However US dyson team don’t suggest to use converter as it will damage my machine. After that I talked to the UAE dyson team and they also said that they are not able to provide replacement service. Then I talked to the US dyson team via instagram, they said they are looking further into this for me and will be in touch shortly, but they never returned. And after that I talked to the member of US dyson team via live chat. He gave me the number which help me to solve this issue. I called that number and they directed me to UK for replacement. But they said that if I am not in UK they cannot help me. After that I called dyson US team again. They said they cannot do anything a

Dyson Airwrap not working

Hello, i purchased the airwrap back in April 22, every time i’ve tried to use it i feel like it isnt powerful enough - my daughter in law has one so i asked her to try mine and she commented that when the attachments are on there is air coming through the buttons.  she has the blue one I have the pink one - just wondered if anyone with the pink one had the same issue? (Moderator Edit - Tags added/Moved category)

My Dyson Airwrap is making the room foggy

Hi all! I recently purchased the new Dyson Airwrap and I’ve been using it over a month. Every time I use the curling attachments the room becomes quite foggy. I’ve brought in my air purifier and it registers over 600 (usually it’s around 10-30). I’m assuming this is from the product I have on my hair being dispersed through the Dyson… does anyone have a similar experience? Dyson corale straightener - Charging Issue. Help!

Hello, now as much as i love the brand dyson i am extremely unsatisfied with the results of my dyson corale hair straighteners. With my straighteners every night i charge then on the charging stand and then use them in the morning (with the cord attached) and they still die on charge! Making me unable to finish my hair in time and i don’t know if all of them are like this but i am unhappy as  if they was charging on the cord while i’m doing my hair they shouldn’t die as they have power flowing to them but it makes me not be able to finish my hair which brings me reason to believe they are faulty. (Moderation Edit - Tags Added)
