Good appliances, but the world's worst customer service!

I can only advise everyone to order a new device from Dyson in the event of a warranty claim and to return it at the end of the withdrawal period and order a new device again. And so on until Dyson perhaps gets around to processing the warranty claim! Everything else is just frustrating, whether you use the chat or the hotline, you are put off for weeks. Dyson confirmed to us four weeks ago that our Dyson 360 Vis Nav cannot be repaired and that we will receive a new device! The only question is when! Every time I ask, it's "In two weeks!"

Side Actuator on Dyson 360 Vis Nav Robot

Love the Nav 360 but I have had to send it for repair when only a few weeks old due to the side actuator silicon being torn just had it back for a couple of weeks and it is torn again Looks like a possible design flaw You cannot buy this part as a spare part at present and I do not want to return the machine again to Dyson for repairLooks like a simple part to replace as there is a single screw holding the part onHas Anyone else seen or had the same issue? Best regards Steve

Cant access Notifications in the MyDyson iOS app

I have connected my Dyson 360 Heurist to my iOS phone and wifi without issue and can send it instructions to clean etc.. But in the app, whenever I try the ‘Manage Notifications’ option, I get a screen saying ‘We’re having trouble connecting’. How do I resolve this?

connecting to the 360 Vis Nav locally via mqtt does not work anymore

hello!at some point in April 2024 there was a FW update that seems to have broken my ability to connecto the device locally from MQTT.Doesy anybody know the nature of the change?The local credentials are still avialable but it just seems to now work anymore. Jack, do you know anything about this?

Oversensitive Dyson 360 Vis Nav drop/lift sensor

I have a carpet which has different kind of textures combined, also including different levels of thickness. The robot vacuum constantly detects drops/lifts with this carpet, requiring my manual intervention or just removal of the carpet completely.I have already set the drop sensors on their less sensitive settings, is there something else I could do to still with settings to make the sensors less sensitive and thus, make them roll nicely over the carpet?

360 Vis Nav robot vacuum communication

My Vis Nav has worked brilliantly for several months until now.  The App won’t connect to the Robot and each time I have to Power Off and On again before getting a connection. This means that scheduled cleans won’t work without going through this process.I’m now told I have to return the machine which will be away for 10 days! This is a very unsatisfactory solution.Two points arise;What do I do for the 10 days without a vacuum? The robot is working apart from the communication issue.  Surely there is a software fix for this.

360 vis nav alexa skill

I used to have a 360 Heurist which I could control via the Dyson skill on Alexa. Since changing to a 360 vis nav, the Alexa skill appears to do very little and returns the response “the action requested is not supported on this machine” to just about everything.I notice that on the Dyson website when I looked up the Dyson skill for Alexa it does not list the 360 vis nav as a supported device (so that appears to be correct😀). Has Dyson dropped support for the Alexa dyson skill for new devices?

VisNav Connection issue

My Visnav, which has hitherto performed flawlessly, has recently given itself a software update, and now I can’t connect with it via the Dyson App. I’ve restarted both the robot and the WiFi, but still the robot is ignoring me. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, how did you manage to sort it out? Thanks,Marc

360 vis Nav issues

I have had the vis nav for a while now and having owned the Previous 2 versions it’s been amazing.  In the last week or so it’s been playing up.  It’s getting lost, it’s stuck (but there is nothing there) it can’t find the dock etc.  I assume it had gone faulty so contacted Dyson and without any hassle then have sent a replacement.  The replacement arrived today and it’s displaying the same issues.   I notice a firmware update recently- could this be the cause? I wasn’t quick enough to stop this neW one updating!, is there a way to downgrade to ‘test’.   anyway any help much appreciated - the house is the same -no changes so it’s a bit Confusing!

vis nav now cleaning summary is distorted?

Hi! Since the most recent update my vis nav now has trouble connecting to my Wi-Fi which prompted me to turn it off then restart it and is now doing this funny thing where it shows my cleaning summaries but the room maps are severely distorted and diagonal? It's so odd! My base is still in the exact same place and hasn't moved so I'm not sure what changed here other than the update?

Spare filter for Robot

Why is a spare filter for the Dyson Robot (Australia) $120.  I have spare filters for my other 3 Dyson's - V15, V12 and DC8.  This is so I can clean them regularly and use the spare while one dries.  The V15 spare is $59 and I got it as a loyalty gift when I bought the V15.  How can they justify $120 because I want to look after the machine??

Horrible experience with Dyson

Dealing with Dyson has been the most frustrating experience.  What should have been a quick and easy refund has turned into a nightmare.  Been waiting for a simple credit since mid June for a product I did not received.  Have had countless conversations on line, chat and by phone.  Dyson does not seem to understand the frustration is causes and have lost me a customer forever.  I would not recommend purchasing anything from Dyson.

Vis Nav and Baseboards

My robot constantly scrapes the grey paint off the quarter round molding of my baseboards.  I figured it would eventually figure out the walls were straight and edge in a straight line, but it has not and I’m getting tired of touching up the lint every few weeks.  Any ideas?

Dyson App not available in my region

I bought a vis 360 vacuum cleaner in Austria. And after returning home, I found out that the My dyson application is not supported in Slovakia. How is it even possible when dyson sells products in Slovakia that require the use of an application?When will the application be available for Slovakia?Until then, the vacuum cleaner is useless to me and was it a waste of money?

Any updates on diagonal zone separator

Can anyone at Dyson please update us on the status of diagonal zone dividers?  This is a critical feature that is still missing.  The VisNav cannot effectively clean our home without using diagonal dividers.   Thank you.

Will you be improving the mapping function for the 360 Vis Nav?

The mapping process for the 360 Vis Nav is buggy and doesn’t provide any function for refinement or amendments to the floor plans (other than a completely new map), are you planning an upgrade?I’ve had to turn all my lights on, move things off of the floor over the entire house etc and despite this it’s come up with incomplete maps three times for various reasons (got trapped twice, room too dark once).  I haven’t been able to zone my house because I’m struggling to get a map with at least all the rooms on it and I’m not keen to run it a fourth time in two days.Could you please upgrade the mapping system so it updates after cleans?  I bought this machine as an upgrade for my 5 year old Roomba and it’s better in every way… except this.  The ancient bot I’ve replaced had an excellent adaptive mapping program that refined the map after every run and I’m really surprised the Dyson doesn’t do similar (or at least allow “ammendment” mapping runs to update existing maps).  It clearly captures

Dyson360Nav Drop Sensors Error on victorian floor boards

when i run the robot over my victorian wooden floor boars which have small cracks between the boards. it will stop and start a number of time then it will five up with the error drop sensors obscuredsee this you tube cliphttps://www.youtube.com/@benanrep1542/videos I have logged this with dyson, but they wont tell me if it is something they will fix, or when it might be fixed. they keep offering me a brand new replacement, no wonder they have money troubles. please try to fix the s/w issue in the new release of the code. Hoover not delivered and now I need to purchase the same hoover with higher prices.

I am so disappointed and will not buy from Dyson anymore. I bought already a Dyson and had it delivered to my address in Zurich 4 weeks ago. Unfortunately this one got stolen at a fair. Now I ordered the same one again (V12 Gold) and Dyson sends me an email that it could not be delivered to my address (without a postal reference number) and that I need to buy it again. Now I am checking the prices and the 150 CHF discount is gone. Not sure if thats a coincidence.Anyone here had an experience with customer support where they actually resolved something? Customer support has been one of the worst experiences that I’ve had with any company so far. Would not have expected this from Dyson. I like the products but will probably by through the electro wholesaler now and not Dyson directly if you can expect worse service and worse prices. Really disappointing.
