I just got a unit off of ebay from Japan. Apparently, the I thibknits called the bump skid is broke. It's in the middle of the front it pivots 30 degrees left/right. I think it's supposed to have a wheel or something there, but it's just a plate and the spring ends are dragging the floor. Does anybody know of a parts diagram for this? And where I csn order a replacement? Thanks.
I've had a bad few days. Several software errors today already. I'm starting to think I got a faulty machine.

I recently got a Vis Nav and set it up, and observed it mostly working. The mapping took a few tries and honestly looks skewed/rotated vs where it cleans and reports. Definitely has had some struggles getting back to the dock, and I’ll see it get stuck in a loop just backing up and going forward around an obstacle over and over and over again, presumably it would do this until it ran out of battery.I got this robot as a replacement for my Neato, and it seems promising, with active development and such from Dyson. The UK site also claims software updates through at least Dec 2031, which is a nice piece of mind.Anyway, with some of the odd behaviors I noticed, I was anxious to try out the newest software. My robot is on v003. As I understand it, v004 came out about 6 months ago, and v005 was less than a week ago.I can see v005 on the software updates page for the robot...https://www.dyson.com/support/vacuum-cleaners/robots/360-vis-nav/software-updatesbut when I click the link to download

im arguing with myself here but i think i know the answers. Recently my 360 has began to stop for no reason saying it needed to return to dock. If i run a small zone, it will sound as if it is trying to go to max but then dropping down to quiet. I've cleaned the filters and although the battery indicator is full and showing charging when it should. I suspect the battery is shot. anyone experienced this? (Moderation Edit - Tags Added)
Hi Dyson Support and Product Team,I’ve been in the market for a robot vacuum and while I really wanted to get the Dyson 360 Vis Nav, a few things have made me reluctant to click “buy”. I thought I’d list out the things from a prospective buyer to help with your product roadmap. I’ll try and keep the list to ‘reasonable’ things that fit the direction of the current Dyson 360 Vis Nav product.A user replaceable lens for the fisheye camera. From what I’ve read, if the lens gets scratched, the navigation gets thrown off and it is pretty much unusable. Looking at a spare parts document from your .au division, there is no way to replace the lens as this is part of the core body. Being able to unscrew this lens and replace it would reduce the anxiety I have about accidentally scratching it down the road. Specs on the software/firmware updates you are pushing for the nav. I don’t love having to rely on influencers on YouTube to tell me a new update has improved the navigation. I would lo
Hi Dyson Support Team and Dyson Users,I am interested in purchasing the Dyson 360 Vis Nav robot vacuum, but I would like to know if it will be compatible with Matter once the Matter V2 specification is released.
So am on my 5th one since Nov 29 - 2 of which never arrived thanks to DPD. All 3 that came have had the same issue - despite multiple mappings they just give up during a clean and stop without any resumption being offered or returning to the dock. All have been charged and I have tried with with just a single room mapped to make it easier (and different rooms). Have followed instructions to the letter, ensured good lighting and rooms prepared. The impression is of a well engineered powerful machine with terrible software / firmware / navigation that is closer to an alpha rather than a beta evolution with buyers being asked to do the R&D. Is am a Dyson advocate over many years but this is shocking for a £1200 machine. I chose Dyson over the competitors because of past excellence and after sales service but am thankful I can return this within 90 days (although have so far lost 21 of them due to none appearance of replacements thanks to DPD.Anyone any insight that may sort this or
Hi Everyone. After lots of research, much of it on the community, I took the plunge and ordered a 360 heurist.Set up was super easy, the app guided me through every step. Kudos to Dyson. The only issues I've had, which for me is a BIG one, is what to name it. I grew up in the early 1980s and have a lot of Sci-Fi films in which I can draw on. Here's my shortlist.RobocopTerminator R2D2BishopJohnny 5 I obviously can’t buy 4 more. What have others called their Robot?Has anyone got a recommendation to sway me towards one of my name?
I just received my Dyson 360 vis nav and noticed the dock that shipped with my unit doesn’t match to color of the robot. On the Dyson product page it shows the dock matches the robot. The dock it came with is a greyish color; is this normal or did it ship with the wrong one?[Moderation edit - title updated]
Hi I got the 1st gen Dyson 360 eye from a friend who did not want to use it any more after he moved to a new apartment that is too small. However he did not remove the vacuum cleaner properly in his MyDyson app and now I cannot connect to it using MyDyson app.I also tried the troubleshooting procedures to download the enable, disable and reset wifi config but it never worked! I still cannot connect and use the vacuum cleaner using MyDyson app. Is there another way to factory reset the vacuum cleaner? It has still the old configs and map so the vacuum cleaner pretty useless to me if I can´t get it to connect to MyDyson. The connection always hangs at step 3 in Confirming Connection and never succeeded! Please see screenshot… can someone from Dyson support help me reset the robot using other means? Thank you so much! I already tried this step very close to the router and wifi access point to no avail! Restarted all router and wifi APs and it still does not work. Other wifi devices have no
Hey allcan someone please tell me how does the new robot handle floors exactly? Let’s say that the ground floor is the main base, but on occasion I want to take it upstairs so it cleans kid’s rooms. How does that exactly work? Some considerations:Does it need a base upstairs? (can I buy a second base?) Does it understand on its own that it’s on another floor, or I have to manually tell it? Does it handle stairs, I mean, will it throw itself down the stairs? :)(Moderation edit - title updated)
There are 4 Dyson products in my house. I would now like to leave a review of one of them. The product is Dyson 360 Eye™ robot . Amazing machine. It works perfectly, it is not noisy. Cleans all the dirt in the house. Never once had any errors. Everything is just perfect! A huge thank you to the Dyson team. You guys are great.
My 360 Visnav tells me to return to dock but it’s on the dock. Called Dyson they said it maybe a faulty dock. I now have to return the dock before they’ll send another one out. I understand if it was the actual matchine. It’s a bit of plastic not even the power cord! Disappointing!
How do I see the House Map with the Robots Current Position on it.
Hey, This morning I received the following firmware update on my 360 vis nav : RB03PR.01.08.002.4054 Is there any changelog / list of improvements for that new firmware ? :) Maybe @Jack can help ? Thanks !
Let me start by saying, hello and good evening, my names Craig.. I’ve recently upgraded all my Dyson products and the star of the show is by far, “TheRobot”, only one thing I could say, if I was being overly critical, is it loves doing 360’s, Lol, hence the title and me Robots name.. I think it’s the Crystal and glass furniture, might be messing with the camera’s, as it only does it near that furniture, maybe the mirrored reflection of itself?? Gets the Robot all excited haha, because after its pirouettes and best impression of a Tazmanian Devill, it then feels the need to drive into the glass coffee table, so yeah, that’s the hypothesis that lead to the conclusion, but, still, without any doubt, an absolutely top tier product, maybe a few wrinkles could be ironed out with further software updates??
Hello together, have several questions.first, the battery life. The Dyson is fully charged, starts to clean, after not even 15 minutes it returns to the station and charges. After charging, he goes again, but after not even 3 minutes, battery dead again. So I do not manage to clean a room!then I wanted to reset the Dyson today as described in the description. LED panel pressed, but the menu delete data, does not appear. It comes only switch off, update via USB stick and cancel. What could I do?
I just got a new Dyson 360 NAV and suspect that it’s having some visibility issues with the 360 camera because it’s not doing a very good job navigating and going to the edges of the floors not even close. When I zoom into the top of the 360 camera, it looks like there are potentially some tiny little defects or possibly chips or tiny Scratch and I’m wondering if this is what is hindering the performance ? is there a way to test if this is an issue or not? If we suspect there is an issue with the 360 camera is there a way to just replace the physical glass on the camera without replacing the entire unit? Like I said, I just got it recently, but even with numerous runs, it’s never covering the majority of our floors, even though I admit that it is a smaller place with a lot of things to navigate around. I have owned multiple much less expensive robot vacuums in the past and they have all done a much better job covering the majority of the floors, including Proscenic vacuums, which are a
I am having a problem getting the 360 Vis Nav to actually vacuum the “toe kick” under kitchen cabinets. It is completely ignoring them.Could re-mapping help? Can I only re-map the kitchen area and not the whole house? The Roomba had a little “whisker” that would extend out and sweep these crumbs completely.
