Does anyone know if an India bought Dyson airwrap will work in UK?

I have a Dyson Airwrap bought in India and I’m moving to UK. Wondering whether the Airwrap will work in UK? I have checked that the operating voltages are the same. But someone I know experienced a short circuit in their room when using an India bought hair dryer (non-Dyson hair dryer).Any thoughts on this would help. Thank you

Straighteners battery flashing empty when fully charged

HiI have had my straighteners for about 3 years, never had any trouble with them. Until now…I use them 2 to 3 times a week. When I take them off the charge they show a full battery. I use them for lees than a minute and the battery flashes empty and they turn off. I put them back in charge and the battery shows full. I turn them on again and the same thing happens.Can anyone help with this issue? Thanks

Hi all!I got the dyson airwrap in early October! And I love it!!It works well smoothing my hair, so well in fact that it gets oily/greasy faster.Instead of my pervious hair wash routine, where I was washing two/three times a week, I’m up to five.Any insight would be great!

Which Dyson (Hair Care) styling product should I buy?

I am 59 years old and a complete beginner in styling my hair. I have naturally wavy/curly hair and generally let my hair dry naturally but as I am getting older feel the need to calm the frizz a little and smooth it, sometimes in a wavy style and sometimes a little straighter. It is beginning to thin a little and is fragile . It is shoulder length. I was thinking about a heated brush to use after drying and in between washes. Which product would you suggest?

dyson pro blowdryer - Intermittent filter light - What can I do?

I am a professional hair stylist and have been having major problems with my Dyson. I’m very busy doing 10+ clients a day and after 2 clients my blowdryer burns out. The red lights turn on, it’ll have a new filter in it, everything is clean and it just stops working mid-client. I have done everything possible to maintain this blowdryer to perfection. Is this just a $500 piece of junk? This is my second blowdryer from them and they replaced the first one due to this issue. Anyone else who has the pro blowdryer going through this?

When using the Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler, there are two key reasons curls can sometimes drop out prematurely.Trying to style hair that’s already dry. Using the wrong barrel for your hair type, which may prevent a firm and lasting hold.In both cases, curls can end up loosening and dropping out more quickly than expected. Thankfully, our team of dedicated hair care experts have come to the rescue with their Golden Rules for curling with the Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler, which should help you achieve a longer lasting curls. Our initial advice would be -Always begin with damp hair, and then make sure your curled hair is completely dry before you switch off. A damp curl won’t hold! Finish each curl by holding the cool shot button for 5 to 10 seconds. This helps set the shape and style. If you have particularly fine or straight hair, the 40mm/1.6inch barrel will probably create more of a blow-out style, rather than a curl. Try using the 30mm/1.2inch barrel instead. help with my 20mm airwrap barrel

I’ve just purchased an air wrap which came with the 20mm barrel due to me having super straight and fine hair. I’m just wondering if there is a trick to getting my hair to take to the 20mm barrel? I can get it take to the 30mm barrel with no problem, but looking for the tighter curl in the hopes it will last longer. Thanks in advance for any suggestions anyone has.

How do I use the Airwrap on my Frizzy/Curly hair?SPOTLIGHTED POST

Hey everyone! I got an Airwrap last month. Have been struggling for over an hour daily trying to make it work with my hair.I started off with wet hair, like recommended. I use a frizz free products and leave in conditioner.Instead of my curls holding, they immediately started dropping out - I even used hairspray to set them in place. I use the hairdryer attachment, firm smoothing brush and finish with the smaller barrel to set my hair.Following a recommendation from a girl at my gym, I tried only the firm smoothing brush, used the coldshot to set my hair and completing with hair spray. My curls lasted a few hours, which was better but still not all day.My question is, will I ever get the Dyson to work on my hair?

Buying Airwrap in EU or UK

Hi, I want to buy an airwrap. I currently live in a European country (2 pronged plug) but am from Ireland (3 pronged plug) and visit often and plan to return in a year or so. I know I can use an adaptor but that they are not suggested for long term use Is it better to: Buy the airwrap in europe, use the adaptor when visiting home and then change the plug once I return home. Buy in Ireland/UK and use an adaptor while living hereAre the voltages etc. the same is it ok to use with an adaptor, is switching the plug safe and would it affect warranty? My Dyson Airwrap is making the room foggy

Hi all! I recently purchased the new Dyson Airwrap and I’ve been using it over a month. Every time I use the curling attachments the room becomes quite foggy. I’ve brought in my air purifier and it registers over 600 (usually it’s around 10-30). I’m assuming this is from the product I have on my hair being dispersed through the Dyson… does anyone have a similar experience? Airwrap - New Owner Review

Cute and everything, but if only Dyson had a brush attachment like the Revlon brush, this would be perfect and everything a woman needs. I’ve been styling my hair since I was 13; that's 25 years of my life. I started old school with a blow dryer and a brush. It would take me over an hour to do it this way. Until The Revlon brush, which takes me 10-15 minutes. The downside is that the air quality is not as good as Dayson's because it creates a lot of Smoke. But the brush is everything, especially the new brush 2.0. So, please, please, please make a better brush attachment like the new Revlon brush tick round and with two kinds of bristles. The one the air wrap comes with is useless if you have long hair. This is just a sincere review from a real women that has been seeking for a better way to style her hair an entire life. Dyson Corrale straightener - Always goes into sleep mode. Is this how it should be or not?

I use a straightener on my hair and after 5 minutes it requires me to press any buttons to continue. I don't leave it unattended, but it goes into sleep mode anyway. Is this how it should work or is it a defect? Do I really need to press the buttons while using it so that the straightener does not go into sleep mode?
