I have short fine, thin, wavy hair (2A/2B) hair. Whenever I use my Remington hair diffuser my hair looks incredibly defined, wavy, and non frizzy. I e started using the Dyson nural diffuser at low speed and low heat but my hair looks like a birds nest. I’ve tried on high speed/high heat, low speed/high heat, and various combinations and nothing. I’m past the 30 days return and I have no idea what to do.
I’ve tried using the diffuser only, diffuse roots + dome for strands, and dome only, nothing makes it look better it makes it look messier. I tried my Remington again it was amazing. I reached out to Dyson, and they won’t offer me a return, exchange, or credit. I’d love any tips on how to make it work for my hair. Thank you!
The dyson nural is ruining my hair, what am I doing wrong?

Hi
Welcome to the Dyson Community, and thanks for letting us know about this.
I'm sorry to hear that the Dyson diffuser hasn't been working well for your hair. Here are a few tips that might help you make it work better:
-
Hair Products: Sometimes, using different styling products can make a big difference. Consider trying a curl-enhancing cream or mousse before diffusing.
-
Technique: Ensure that you're using the diffuser properly. Here are some steps you can try:
-
Section Your Hair: Divide your hair into smaller sections to ensure even drying and definition.
-
Scrunch Your Hair: Use your hands to scrunch your hair while diffusing to help enhance the natural wave pattern.
-
Use the Diffuser Close to Your Scalp: Start with the diffuser close to your scalp to add volume and lift to your roots before moving to the mid-lengths and ends.
-
-
Drying Time: Be patient with the drying process. Sometimes, using a lower heat and speed setting for a longer period can result in better definition and less frizz.
-
Cool Shot: Use it towards the end of your drying session to set the waves and reduce frizz.
-
Hair Oils or Serums: After diffusing, you can apply a small amount of hair oil or serum to your hair to tame any remaining frizz and add shine.
I hope this helps!
