I would like to purchase just the power unit to use in Japan. I have a US Air Wrap that I know will not work there. Is it possible just to only purchase a power unit?

If you were to purchase a power unit, converting their machines is against the warranty, essentially voiding it.

Have you spoken to Dyson in Japan? If you’re relocating, and still in warranty they might, stipulation on MIGHT, swap it.
