I live in the US and have a Dyson Airwrap that I purchased here two years ago. The warrantee has already expired at this point. Anyway, I am traveling to Asia to the countries that use 220v. I have been trying to find information about how to bring my Airwrap and use it oversea but there are many conflicted and unclear information on the internet. I even called the expert and asked the store manager but all of them couldn’t give confirm and clear information of how I can or can not use the machine oversea and what would be the solution for people who travel. It just doesn’t make sense how a personal care product can’t be travelled to another countries however I understand about the voltage difference. So I really need to get a clear answer for two questions. Can I use the machine with the voltage converter? What if I buy a new one in Asia that is for 220v, can I use it when I travel to other countries that use the same voltage 220v? (Understand about the warrantee but my question is just
Hi all, a newbie here.I currently have a Dyson hairdryer in Iron/Fuchia colour and the Dyson Airwrap in Fuchia/Nickel colour.Do Dyson do the Corrale straighteners in a similar colour because I can only seem to find Black Nickel/Fuchia and my OCD says they don’t match! Recently tried a friend’s Drybar Doubleshot and LOVE the oval shape and the bristles/spacing of the bristles. The shape of the oval brush would be easy to replicate, it seems, and gives a different shape and creates more volume at the root than Dyson's round brush attachment. In particular, also like how the bristles have rounded tips and are more spaced apart, as this creates less pulling - therefore, less hair loss/damage. Please make an attachment like this, as I think many people would purchase the Airwrap, takeaway other devices from our arsenal, and be a game-changer for those who already own the Airwrap. I think that the demand is there and the Airwrap is superior to the Drybar, Revlon, and other similar products with an oval-shaped brush head as far as the heating and airflow mechanism - but, the oval-shaped heads are what make those devices so great. Thanks!!!
Hi, will Dyson ever consider making a travel size hair dryer with a diffuser attachment. I love my hair dryer and take it away with me but with airlines making you pay for a cabin bag now, you can’t fit it in your backpack with everything else. Thanks (Edited by moderator – Tags added)

In September I placed one order of the dyson airwrap special edition, and it was included as a gift a travel case. The delivery address was to a friend who lives in UK, and as soon as he gave me the closed box I opened and saw that inside was missing the travel case. I tried to contact Dyson Whats app support and was told that the order was under his name, so he needed to contact Dyson. He contacted and they said that as the product is with me I should contact, and we are in this forever loop with us both contacting and they saying different things for us and not solving the problem, I really dont know what else I can do. Has anyone else experienced this unpleasant situation with them? (Edited by moderator – Moved to a new category/Tags added)
Hello,I live in the US and have a Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer and V10 Cyclone Vacuum Cleaner- both were bought in the US. I am moving to the UK and I am very frustrated now as I found out that neither of the machines will be working there. I messaged Dyson customer support before and asked for options and advice as I would love to take both of the machines with me. At first, I was told that I can use an adapter with my hair dryer in the UK. Then I called Dyson just to double check and was told that it will not be possible and that my appliances will not work with adapters, but said that I would be able to exchange the hair dryer under warranty to a UK version. Since my vacuum cleaner is not under warranty anymore, the representative said I can buy the UK battery, the main body and charger to be able to use it properly in the UK.Since I received some conflicting information, I want to make sure that I will actually be able to do that and that Dyson will be able to replace my the hair dr
I recently bought a Dyson Supersonic HD07 off eBay which was shipped to me from China. The product feels heavy, the accessories look solid, the cable and box have a serial number tag but I still have a feeling that the product is not genuine. I was able to register the product on MyDyson website without any issues. I did reach out to the customer care center and all they said is that if the device gets registered, then it's not counterfeit. Can you suggest how else I can validate the authenticity of my product? I couldn't not find any proud issues with manufacturing (looks a little dull though) or anything to do with the logo or otherwise. Any help is appreciated! Best regards
Hi Dyson,I was reading up about people who own the Dyson blow dryer or airwrap and what do they do if they travel with them. This is usually one of my issues because I never pack it anywhere since I know the US Dyson can only be used in North America. It would be wonderful if Dyson could consider either making the hair tools to be interchangble plugs for US and non US or if they can just sell the stick that has the alternative plug without having to buy all the attachments. Dyson, please consider this because I’m not open to spending another $600 just to be able to use my airwrap in another country. (Edited by moderator – Tags added)
Is anyone else having issues in trying to order the flyaway attachment for the supersonic.my wife has been been on the “Notify Me” for a best part of a year and has never received a notification as to when in stock or given the opportunity to even order.i phoned up Dyson today to be told “yeah its out of stock, click on the notify me option to be advised” despite me already telling the agent that we have done that. But if we bought a new dyson supersonic then it would be in the pack, my wife has had supersonic for nearly 2 years and there is nothing wrong with it, so why would i order a new one.Clearly, Sir James Dyson doesn’t care about ensuring there is sufficient stock for those people who bought the supersonic when it came out without the flyaway. I suggest your purchasing department look to get this as there is clearly a need for this part on its own. either that or remove the individual item from your UK website, or allow it to be ordered from the USA site which states it’s in
Both countries use the same voltage and the Dyson help pages mention that the Airwrap will work, however I have heard conflicting information at the Styling Tours that Dyson products should not be used abroad as the warranty will be invalidated. Any clarity would be great, thanks. (Edited by moderator – Tags added)

HELP!!I’m on a family break in Disneyland Paris and I’m not able to use my Airwrap. The light is flashing white and I can’t switch it on.I’ve used it abroad before, with the same adaptor and I’ve not had an issue. I don’t want to spend time on the phone or waiting for an email back from the helpline. Does anyone know what it means?
Hi Everyone! I’ve been thinking about buying the Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer | Dyson, but it’s a big investment. I really want to know what I am getting for my money and of course I have a few questions.Does anyone have an unboxing video? Are there any videos to help me set it up? My hair is quite wavy and usually takes ages to dry, is there anything I need to do before using it?Thank you for helping.Emma (Edited by moderator – Title amended and Tags added)
