No. it isn’t. It seems this question has come up a lot in recent weeks. The Community Team posted about it earlier today.

Hey Darlin. This is a big fat NO. I learnt the hard way that the Supersonics and Airwraps taken to the US just won’t work. Visa versa, US machines won’t work outside of the states.
