The UK version won’t work in America. The voltage is completely different. Dyson don’t recommend a converter. I haven’t seen any recommendations on a converter. Might be worth an internet search.

What did you end up doing???? I'm so so so disappointed in DYSON for this issue that SO MANY ppl are facing!!! During the sale transaction, I have not seen any warnings about this issue. Even online it doesn't say anything. Only after the sale is when the issue comes. It's not a cheap product to go and replace .....
