Can you travel abroad with Dyson Airwrap 220V different Hz? | Dyson Community

Hey

In my country we use 220v and I am traveling to South Korea that also use 220v, but the Hz is different. In my country the Hz is 50 and in South Korea the Hz is 60… can I still use Dyson Airwrap?

If not, do you have any suggestions what can I do? We are kind of inseparable…

Hi @REL

Thanks for posting a question out to the wider community - it doesn’t look like an of our other members have been able to help, so I thought I’d step in to help.

Although not a direct answer to your question, I believe our ‘Dyson Airwrap™️ multi-styler/Dyson Supersonic™️ hair dryer - Can I use it abroad/overseas?’ article may help.

Theoretically, if the standard voltage in your country is between 220 and 240 volts, like in the UK, Europe, Australia, and most of Asia and Africa, then you can use your electric appliances in Korea. However, please bear in mind the information regarding use with a converter or electrical adapter.

I hope this helps.

Stuart
