Dyson Air Wrap won't operate at high heat | Dyson Community

Hello,
I have a Dyson Airwrap multi-styler (in pink) that is about 2 years old. I use it regularly 1-2 times per week and have been a huge advocate of its performance. I am very familiar with the cleaning process for the filter and do so after every use. I had no problems for the first 12-18 months, however, about 2 months ago, it has stopped being able to function at the highest heat setting which I have always used to maximize the curl hold in my hair. After just a few seconds on high heat, regardless of the attachment I’m using, it shuts off and the red indicator light comes on. It operates fine at all other heat levels no matter what the duration of time - it is only when I move the toggle button to the high heat setting that this continuously happens. I can no longer use the Airwrap because my long hair will not hold the curl at the medium heat setting so I am extremely disappointed as a) it is so expensive and b) it has become such a part of my hair routine. What can I do?
