I have been travelling with my airwrap and have only used the Dyson airwrap carry case but have noticed it is transferring blue dye from the inside of the case to the pink paint on my airwrap. Using the Dyson recommended cleaning process doesn’t remove it. I am reluctant to use anything more aggressive for fear of damaging the paint. Disheartened as I have been extremely careful not to scratch or damage my colour pop airwrap and dryer - even going so far as lining my shelves with soft material so they don’t scratch. There were two other related threads about this but couldn’t find resolution (see links). Love my colour pop it matches my 1920s pink and green bathroom, but the pink on the air wrap is starting to look dull and grimmy. Has anyone successfully been able to clean this blue stain off without damage? What are other people doing to prevent the colour transfer? Or what other travel cases are you using? Extremely surprised the official Dyson travel case is damaging my airwrap! I also have a Dyson case for the ceramic pop dryer but haven’t used it yet for fear it will do the same thing (the whole unit is pink so the dye stains would be really noticeable and more difficult to clean).
