Identifying a counterfeit Airwrap

I purchased a Dyson Airwrap off a private seller on eBay UK.

The item was sold as New/Unboxed.

Receiving the item, I was able to see that it was not new and very much used.

After looking at more detail of the machine, I’ve noticed some details which make me question the authenticity of the machine.

I’ve spoken to someone the customer server online chat who said it was genuine because the serial number ends with an “A”, not helpful.

I’ve spoken to a customer service agent on the phone, and he said I’d need to send it into a repair centre or if i’m lucky go to a store, and they can identify it. Unfortunately, no stores anywhere near Cambridge, UK and can’t send the machine off because i’ll be sending it back to the seller to get a refund.

I’m attaching the photos which make me believe this is counterfeit.

1- The white circle below the main power button is not aligned in the center vertically. Nor is the blue dot. The line on the right is neither straight. There is no white circle on the power button.

The filter attachment doesn’t fit neatly against the machine.

There is philips screws being used, this one if damaged/threaded slightly.

The box is damaged and came with an UK extender plug, assume a new product wouldn’t come with one of these.

There is a typo on the packaging, no space after the .
“self-wrap.Move”

This inside of this attachment isn’t centered
