Dyson needs to create a descent diffuser for curly hair. The current one does not hold and lift hair. So tempted to switch to the shark just for the diffuser but I love the dryer.

Agreed, a million percent. I’ve given this feedback for years, specifically for the Air Wrap (the dryer had one when I bought it, but I’ve given it to my sister).
What I did was buy a rubber adapter (snozzlepro) and a good diffuser (black orchid) and use that on the AirWrap. For travel, I use a sock diffuser and just hold onto it well,
They have one for the Dyson hairdryer: Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer attachments and accessories | Dyson. I agree they need one for their Airwrap! I hope they release one soon!
