Supersonic Pro not turning on…

I’m just wondering if anyone can help or offer maybe some support ??
So, it’s taken me a long time to get comfortable using my Dyson Supersonic, especially on clients. At first I couldn’t get used to the shape and the location of the buttons felt awkward. But then slowly I’ve actually grown to love it. Now just as I’m starting to really get the feel of it, it suddenly stops working. I’ve had it just around 6 months. It’s working fine one day and then the next day it just won’t turn on.
I contacted Dyson through the chat feature on their website and was told by the representative that my machine is broken and must be repaired. They say I will need to drive over two hours to a Dyson repair center to get it fixed. Only after I tell them that I live in a city and do not have a car do they offer me the option to have it replaced. But then I’m told that there are no Supersonic Pro units available. What the heck? Can this be? I’m just wondering if anyone else has had this happen??
No repair centers in a major American city and no replacement units anywhere in the country? One of the best parts of owning a Dyson is the excellent warranty.
I’m so bummed. I followed all of the care instructions to the letter. I cleaned the filter every day. I never dropped it. But I’m stuck without a working blow dryer.
I was told that I would be emailed when they had a dryer to send to me. However they could not give me an estimation on how long that will take.
I’m planning to call and speak to someone directly this week.
Anyone know when the supersonic “r” is coming out??

Ps- Jack from this community has offered to help me look into this further which I could not be more grateful for. Thanks Jack!

I wanted to follow up to say that Dyson has been so helpful ever since I made this post. I was contacted by the manager of the Community Site as well as an executive resolution specialist and we’ve set up an exchange. Apparently there were only 7 remaining professional Dyson Supersonics in the country!
