I’ve had a V8 animal cordless for ages and have loved it. Unfortunately it’s getting older and I needed to get a new main body and battery which was still cheaper than buying a completely new one.
Along with a lot of you I couldn’t find the parts number as the serial number on my old Dyson wouldn't work on the website. When I spoke to customer services they said it wasn’t a valid serial number so they couldn’t help!
Today I’ve received the replacement body part, purchased directly from Dyson, and guess what? The serial number is in the same format as the old one and again isn’t recognised on the website.
Essentially I’m wondering if anyone has been able to resolve this as I’d like to register it. Any help or info gratefully received. TIA.
