Hi All,

    I wish to thank all with help regarding DC35 2 new batteries and a new charger later

My progress is to leave new charger on all night to actually charge battery to the required

22.6 volt and then only get a run time of 5 to 7 minutes I confess to giving up flogging the dead horse

did no good.

       If of interest I am now the happy owner of a Vax Blade 4 quick charging long runtime and

excellent battery condign indication.

      Again Thank you for your time keep up the good work a lot of people rely on your experience

Fair point. An online search shows the Dc35 model only gave between 7 - 12 mins (5-7 on MAX). I’d say you’re getting the expected run time.

The later models perform better, I have the V11 outsize (two battery model). Each one gives me around an hour of operation! Well worth the investment in my eyes.

          Thank you for your reply very interesting

I had no idea of the 7-12 minutes run time I had thought much longer.

But as you say the Dc35 is one of the first models and the advancements

since then have been significant, your two battery idea is one I have emulated

always good to have one ready while one charging.
