My DC44 Animal docking station charger reads 18.4 volts. The Type B battery for the DC44 is rated at 22.2 volts Is this sufficient to give a full charge to the Battery? Edward

As long as your Dyson DC44’s battery and charger assembly are genuine Dyson parts, they will be compatible and the charger assembly will deliver sufficient power to recharge your machine.
