I’ve used my Dyson G1 wash 4 times and each time the dirt tray is really hard to pull out and now it is totally stuck. I’ve turned the cleaner on its side and now got dirty water out of the tray on my floor and still can’t get it out. Not happy at all. Any suggestions at how it should slide out smoothly please?
Hi
Welcome to the Dyson Community!
Thanks for letting us know about this - this shouldn’t be the case. The Debris tray should remain firmly in place during use, but remove easily for maintenance. We'll need our Customer Care experts to take you through some further troubleshooting checks when you have your Dyson WashG1 wet floor cleaner easily to hand. If a replacement part or a repair is needed, they’ll be able to discuss your options with you.

We'll look forward to speaking with you!
I just bought the G1 today. Cleaned my floors beautifully however it’s stuck on self clean and won’t cycle through anything else on electronic display. I also found the tray very difficult to remove.
Big fan of Dyson but a little concerned about the G1. I see someone else has had the same issue with the self clean being stuck.
