Dyson V10 Cyclone Not Working -- weird boink noise

Hello

My Dyson V10 Cyclone Motorhead has been working smoothly for last few years until yesterday.  I cleaned my carpet and it had clogged debris, so I cleaned the tubes and areas where it gets clogged.  And all of sudden, it makes this kind of noise and not working.  I couldn’t find out what this noise is for.  It’s certainly not for the filter as filter light is not on.  Does anyone have any advice on what the error could be and how to fix?  Thank you!

Hi @jiwonstr,

Welcome to the Dyson Community! This sounds like an issue affecting the motor and preventing it from running as normal. To help pinpoint the cause we'll need our Customer Care experts to take you through some further troubleshooting checks when you have your Dyson Cyclone V10™ vacuum fully charged and easily to hand. If a replacement part or a repair is needed, they’ll be able to confirm if this is covered under your Dyson warranty.

Please visit Dyson.com and click the round purple button to launch the Dyson Digital Assistant. Then click the agent icon in the bottom left corner of the chat window to start a conversation with our Customer Care team.

We'll look forward to speaking with you!
