Hello @Trac69

Thanks for posting a question to the wider community. Sorry that you are experiencing this with your Dyson v15™.

When a machine pulsates (switching on and off), usually this is an indicator of a blockage, a filter that needs to be washed or a damaged filter.

As mentioned you already cleaned your filters and checked for blockages, I would then suggest you look into replacing your filters as there is definitely a restriction in air flow within your machine.

You can either place an order via or website or make contact with us directly and one of our Representatives will assist you with this.

If you need further support after this, please get in touch via our WhatsApp channel and one of our team will be happy to discuss the next steps. To do this, simply click on our Guides and manuals link, navigate to the ‘Contact us’ section of the page and select ‘Start a WhatsApp conversation’.

I have also added a link for further insight on maintaining your Dyson over here

If there is any further support you require, don't hesitate to respond over here.

Regards,

Stick vacs are easy to troubleshoot if you know how, but can be expensive outside of the warranty. They either replace the battery, charger or main body. In the event they can’t solve it with one, they move onto the other. I’d say the fault is with the main body, the sensors are misdiagnosing an issue. Frustrating, as it means you can’t use it until they’ve replaced a part.

I have the very same problem with my V15 and still waiting for a replacement for more than a month now.
2 replacement orders have been created meanwhile and automatically closed by the support team without any explanation.
This is terrible customer support...

Its something to do with the main body, we have had 3 replacement bodies now (last one they told they will not replace) if you search online its a common issue. You spend all this money on a hoover that cant even last a year it seems. Goodluck on the replacement. It will happen again. Dyson really need to look into this issue, as now im left with a faulty hoover which i aint paying more money to fix. They always seem to go at the same time period. 6-8 months

Hi, I am very mad, because I got this issue not even half a year of usage. Took over a month to replace and get a new one.
Got the new one. Its been half a year from the replacement unit and it started happening again. Just once every time I turn it on so far, but that exactly how it started with the other one.
For this price this is just incredible. Now i will spent few hours again to get in contact with support and then another month without a vacuum…
Id be better off with my money back and bying a different brand.

Hi,  I have had the same issue.  I am on my second replacement and the power has started to cut off again a few times before it will stay on.  The same thing happened last time and it eventually stopped working altogether.  I was impressed by the customer service response first time and a replacement was issued quickly.  Now it has happened again I have been told I am not entitled tot a replacement and I must send my Dyson to be repaired.  Given this is the second time this issue has occurred I have no faith in the product anymore.  It seems I am not alone with this issue and Dyson should acknowledge the problem and potentially do a recall - the product is not fit for purpose.

Mine was also not replaced the second time, but it has been sent to repair.

To my surprise, the process was fairly easy through whatsapp, they picked up the old and will see how long till I get it back.

I dont have faith in the product. Im expecting it to break again in half a year.

If it does I cannot simply convince myself ever to buy another Dyson.
