I am unable to remove the debris tray from my new DYSON WashGI Please advise how to recrtify this problem ?

Welcome to the Dyson Community!
Please be informed that you need to press the tray removal button and slide the tray out of the cleaner head as shown in the image.
Furthermore, to re-assemble the tray, you have to slide the tray back into the cleaner head.
