Hello I wonder if anyone with technical knowledge could help. I live on a boat and had a power surge (stupidly turned on my generator while plugged into shore power) It wipes out lots of things including my oven but my Dyson v7 also won’t work. The “technical” dyson people just went over the trouble shoot that I did online and suggested a new battery. However, I don’t want to buy a battery and then find the whole thing has been frazzled. Would anyone (electrically minded!) know if this could be the case? Dyson help wasn’t very helpful sadly so I’ve since purchased another brand.
