Our V7 sadly gave up on us after so many years. It won’t charge anymore and instead of looking to replace the battery we’re thinking of upgrading the machine.
Is it possible to purchase the V10 vacuum without the attachments? Can we still use the crevice and combinations tools, motorbars from the V7? If the tools are compatible, is there such an option (thinking sustainable / less waste)? Located in Switzerland

Welcome to the Dyson Community, and thank you for your question.
Any non-powered attachments from your Dyson V7™ vacuum should be compatible with a Dyson Cyclone V10™ vacuum, with the exception of the wand. They share the same Quick-release connection design.
But all new Dyson vacuums will be packaged with a range of additional attachments, which are covered under the same 2-year guarantee. The exact selection of attachments included may vary depending on which model you choose. It’s not possible to purchase just the main machine alone.
Dyson attachments are made from the same high-grade materials as our machines themselves - so you could recycle the old ones, or otherwise rehome them!

Some of them may fit the new device, though it varies on the attachment and the model you’re going for. About purchasing the device alone without attachments, I don’t think that’s possible since they come with the packing of the vacuum.
