Register machine without known purchase date

I bought my V11 cordless approx. 3-5 years ago and never registered it online.

I need some help with current issues and want to search the parts however I can’t do this without registering my machine online.  I have the serial number (obviously!) but don’t remember the date (letalone the year!) it was purchased.  All I know is prior covid years.  

So how does one register the machine if it’s not possible to register without the purchase date.

The registration date is used to activate the guarantee, which is only two-years on the stick vacs. If this times elapsed, you might as well put the date at the end of the beginning of the year. You’ll only ever be asked to provide proof in the instance that Dyson need to do a repair and you’re claiming it under the terms of the free guarantee.
